2 Timothy 1:7   For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

We are spirit, we live in a body, and we have a soul.

Our soul is made up of three parts, our mind, our will and our emotion.

Your mind is what you think with

Your will is what you want

Your emotions are what you act on.

Matthew 22: 37   Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is what the mind does; it is supposed to make the right choices to love the lord with all your heart.

However, your mind can only do what it is trained or renewed to do.

However we still have a will and emotions to deal with.

Your will, doing what you want it to do, is called the desires of the mind.

Then comes the emotions, your emotions can really make your day

They are a state of feeling… happy, anger or fear.

Romans 8:15    For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Fear will put you under bondage, anger causes toxins, or poisons to be released into your body.

Eph 4:31   Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour,and evil speaking, be put away from

you, with all malice:

1 Corinthians 6: 19-20   ¹⁹ What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

²⁰ For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Let us talk about our mind: our mind is what we think. Did you ever hear the expression “I gave her or him a peace of my mind?”

Or I think I am loosing my mind:

Or my mind isn’t what it used to be

It is just mind over matter. I don’t mind and it don’t matter.

That is bad lingo in any language.

Eph. 4:23   And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

We need to renew our minds daily, so the enemy can not deceive us. The enemy is very cunning and very smart.

Take heed to your selves, that your heart be not deceived.

Our life is not in the mind, our life is in the spirit, our mind is carnal, and sometimes carnal is not good.

Eph 2:5   ⁵ Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Open your mind and receive the inspired word of God.

Receive this anointing and power from reading and discerning of His word

Let the word quicken your mind with the life force that makes our spirit alive beyond natural thinking.

If you will let Gods presence in your life, the Holy Spirit will give you insight to put Gods word into action.

²⁰ But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Romans 12: 2    And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Be not conformed, that is living in a worldly behavior. Rather be transformed with the renewing of your mind, “the way you think”

It is not about your will. It is about the will of God and the renewing of your mind.

Paul is saying flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God. What decays can not inherit what does not decay

I want to tell you something that was a mystery until now. All of us are not going to die (or sleep) but we shall be changed.

In a moment at the last trumpet the ones that are sleeping will be raised first, and then we which are alive will be changed in a split second. In the twinkling of an eye.

Philippians 3:18-21King James Version (KJV)¹⁸ (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:¹⁹ Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)²⁰ For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:²¹ Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

v. 18 says for many are enemies of the cross

They are rebellious to God or his word. They don’t want to hear about God or his Word.

v. 19 in the end they will be destroyed for their own emotions or their God.

The things of the world system are all they see, their eyes are blinded by the prince of this earth and spiritual wickedness in high places.

They glory in their shame, one thing I know Jesus will suddenly come and many will not be ready. Their minds are set on worldly things and these things have become their God.

God’s mercy is a strong demonstration of his grace that reaches out to those who don’t deserve it. God’s mercy is no weak thing. It is not some trifle negligence that over looks sin.

God never overlooks sin. That is why you can’t go to heaven in your natural body.

God promises Christ’s return in scripture 318 times.

Sometimes the fires of revival seem to have come and gone.

Never before in history have so many legitimate signs of Christ’s return been seen as they have today.

Wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom, famines, pestilences (sickness and disease) if you haven’t noticed them you will.

There is much deception in the world: for many will come in my name saying I am the Christ, and many will be deceived.

The end times will be filled with deception; this is the beginning of sorrows.

If Satan can’t get people to disbelieve or rebel against God he will try to get them hooked on some false doctrine to lead them astray.

The fact that deception and false teaching are increasing should not take you by surprise. To strengthen yourself against these false teachings know your bible, test the spirits, seek Gods guidance.

Avoid immorality; nothing clouds the mind like sins of the flesh. Share your faith with others, walk in the spirit.

Righteousness and Holiness are two different things.

Righteousness is being in right standing with God. You got that when you accepted Jesus as savior and were born again.

The only thing you did to be made righteous was to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life.

Faith is the substance that makes righteousness obtainable.

A better way to say it is Faith is what makes it possible to stay in right standing with God, which is counted as righteousness.

First we must have faith, second we will receive Mercy because of our faith.

Then we will be able to receive the grace of God, the mercy of God, so that faith in Gods word will produce the favor of God in our lives.

Gods grace is unmerited favor. Unmerited means we could not have earned his grace by works.

Living in the gospel of Christ by the grace of God, you are counted worthy of being righteous before God through faith in Jesus Christ.

If you allow the enemy to attack your position in righteousness then he can literally shut the door on things that God has operating in your life.

The more you experience the glory of God the more the enemy will attack your position of righteousness in order to stop the flow of Gods glory.

If you are determine to never let him attack your position of righteousness you can prevent the devil from completing the plans he has for your life.

Then the devil can not stop you from operating in the glory of the Lord. Secondly he can not stop the manifestation of the promises of God in your life.

The more you experience the glory of God the more the enemy will attack your position of righteousness in order to stop the glory of God in your life.

If you’re determine to never let him attack your position of righteousness, you can prevent the devil from completing the plans he has for you life.

Then he can not stop you from operating in the glory of the Lord. He can not stop the manifestation of the promises of God in your life.

God wants to bless us with every spiritual blessing that heaven has to offer.

Holiness however is another matter.

You are not made holy by works; holiness is the results of your choices. It is what you do with your time and your actions. It is also your conduct.

Holiness comes when you make a decision with your own will to live according to the precepts of the Lord.

Holiness is doing those things that please the Father.

To be holy is to be sanctified and meet the Masters of the universe: Our heavenly father, the Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

If you keep yourself pure, you will be a utensil God can use for his purpose. Your life will be clean and you will be ready for the Master to use you.

Sanctified means to set apart from the world: Justified means just as if you had never sinned.

¹⁶ Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

God wants us to be caught up in spiritual things. He knows if we are caught up in spiritual things we will lose interest in carnal activities and pursue him with all our hearts.

God doesn’t want us to simply obey a set of rules because we feel that is the right thing to do. That is law instead of spirit.

God wants us to live holy lives. He wants us to have a heart felt desire to please him.

When we spend time with the Lord we will want to do things that please Him.

Our desire will be for spiritual things, not the things of the flesh. Being dedicated to God is not something that is above and beyond the call of duty.

It is not something that is just expected of preachers and ministers. God expects us all to live holy.

We are to be a living and holy sacrifice: The kind that God will accept. When we think of what He has done for us we will realize that it is not too much for Him to ask.

Certainly such a life will require us to make some sacrifices, in the end it will be worth it.

We will stand Holy before God and wait anxiously for that day of Jesus’ return.

And that day God will give us our full rights as heirs to the throne, and we will be His children, and we will have our new bodies throughout eternity as he has promised us.

Those who want to come with me must say no to the things of this world.

In other words, if you want to be a follower of mine you must deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow me.

You must make Jesus the Lord of your life, and live righteous before Him. If you try to saved your life without following Jesus you will loose your life.

Why: Because you have chosen to denied him as Lord and Savior.

When you accept Him and follow Him you will save your life.

What should it profit a person if they had a billion dollars and denied Christ and died in sin.

His soul and spirit will spend eternity in the lake of fire.

You might say, I never thought a loving God would send me to Hell.  He wouldn’t, your choices decide where you will spend eternity.

God sent Jesus to save us, you must make the choice to receive Him as Lord and Savior.

What in this earth would be worth missing eternity with Jesus in Heaven? Every thing on Earth is only temporary.

There should be nothing on this earth that would be worth exchanging your soul and spending eternity in Heaven with Jesus.

The problem is, people focus on earthly values instead of Gods word and Gods values.

They can’t seem to get it in their heads and hearts that Gods word is real.

⁵ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Trust in the Lord or trust in his word with all your heart. It doesn’t say trust with your head.

Whether you believe it or not God is real. His word is real and His will for your life is real. Heaven is real and Hell is real.

Whether you are a Christian or not you face the world the flesh and the devil.

How are you facing it: With God or with the Devil.

People that read Gods word or people who deny God will hear Gods word but will not understand it.

Only the Holy Spirit can give understanding of Gods word.

Jesus said you will see what I do, but you will not understand its meaning.

When trouble shows up, be patient. Don’t go to your natural way of thinking. Go to the Lord and let him walk with you through the trouble.

In every situation in life there is always a promise and a provision for it in Gods word.

¹³ And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

¹⁴ If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

The very reason people don’t receive is they don’t ask. When they do ask, a lot of the time it is not in line with Gods Word.

³³ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Believe in your heart that you are the righteousness of God. Confess with your mouth. Then you have the right to what to the thing you have asked for and what you say.

A lot of people don’t what to grow and develop in the word, but they want the blessing of the word.

We are to love God with all our heart and soul leaning on Him. Especially when we are in trouble and need Him, we should be leaning in closer to him.

God still hears our prayers and still answers prayers.

We need to have assurance in God that if we ask anything according to his will (which is his word) He will hear us.

Start seeing your self as God sees you. You will be amazed at how much different you will see yourself.

If you are a born again believer, then you are a child and heir in the Kingdom of God. You are not of this world: you are just passing through on your way to heaven.

The will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you. Gods grace is sufficient to handle all of your troubles.

If your trouble is depression, let God comfort you.

God is the way; he will walk you through what ever it takes to provide for you.

His word is the truth; you can be assured God is always on your side.

Jesus said, I will never leave you or forsake you. He said I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

We have a loving and compassionate heavenly Father, who gives us comfort in our time of need.

He comforts us in all our suffering and tribulation. He does this so when other people suffer we are able to comfort them as he comforted us.

Let not your heart be troubled, it will only lead you to thinking in the natural. Wrong thinking leads to wrong living

Ask the Holy Spirit to quicken your spirit, that you can rise above the natural and ask him to take you to Gods supernatural realm of thinking.

All of the answers for the problems of this world can be answered by leaning on God and his Word.

The word communication means to transfer or release the power and authority from faith.

That the forces of faith might become effectual or having adequate power to produce what the word thru faith says it will do, Also by acknowledging of every good thing which in you by Christ Jesus.

By faith you release or transfer communication from your spirit to your body. Your spirit and soul is the real you.

You are supposed to have control over your natural body. If you don’t your natural body will scream like it always does, “I want my way, want it now and I don’t want to wait.”

It has been that way from the starting with Adam and Eve at the fall in the Garden of Eden.

You need to stay alert and acknowledge the good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

You need to believe and admit that the reality of the soul, spirit, word and that the power of it is real.

That reality and power will transfer knowledge from the spirit man to the natural man. We need to be confident of the good work of God which will perform in you.

¹¹ So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

When God speaks things take action, when you speak your words activate the power of God. Life and death is in the tongue of the believer.

His word shall accomplish that which He pleases. And it shall prosper in the thing where He sends it.

Get your soul and spirit lined up with Gods word. Then speak His word to obtain the Power you need for your life.

Once you realize you can release you’re healing in your body thru the stripes of Jesus you can overcome sickness. Release the wisdom of the word in everything that pertains to the purpose of your life.

The word works! I will say it again The WORD WORKS!

¹⁷ No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

You need to realize the importance of communication of the faith, so it can become effective by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Start trusting God, he is still in control. Don’t lean to your own understanding.

Speak to your brain; tell it that you are in charge and for it to do its job. Let it know that it’s been some what slack lately and you are not happy about it.
 

Speak to it; tell it to line up with the mind of Christ, and the word of God.

Your brains job is to regulate the body. If your body hurts, speak to the hurt, tell it you are in control.

Talk to your finances; tell them to get in line with the word. Let the spiritual body tell the natural body who is boss.

Reach out and take the power and authority that Jesus invested in you and be strong.

Israel Day 3

Israel Day 3

Well we had our arrival in Israel and our first night sleeping in Israel.

We awoke at 4 am. We were so excited neither Andy or myself could sleep any longer. We went to breakfast at six thirty then we were off to the room to collect our bags. We had to meet our tour bus at eight thirty. Our driver and guide greeted us with smiles and a bottle of water.

We were all settled in our seats and the bus drove us north to the plains of Sharon. Our first stop was Caesarea. Herod had made a great port there on the Mediterranean for ships to stop at and unload their cargo, to resupply and have some shore time.

There was an arena built there where they had chariot races and gladiators jousting with the backdrop being the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea.

The next stop was Mount Carmel where Elijah had an encounter with the priest of Baal.

On to the valley of Megiddo where the battle of Armageddon is to take place. We were on a peak overlooking the valley. It was breathtaking and awesome.

Next were the pastoral hills of Galilee and a look at Mount Precipice overlooking the town of Nazareth. As you know this is the place where the friends of Jesus and towns men took Jesus to throw him off the cliff.

On to the place of the annunciation where Mary found out she was the chosen one of God to bring our savior into the world.

Our tour day ended in Tiberius where we would stay for two nights. A beautiful beach resort: Our rooms over looked the beautiful Sea of Galilee.

The day was so blessed. We saw some holy places where our Savior lived and grew up. It was hard to believe I was really there.

The terrain was very rocky in most places we visited. It was apparent that the people of that day had to be strong to make a living.
