SIN AND DISOBEDIENCE

 SIN AND DISOBEDIENCE

Romans 5:19-21   19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is why I believe God wanted or rather inspired me to teach on these two rebellious parts of scripture. Sin does more than harm one’s life, it can destroy home, relationships, families, cities or even nations.

Sin is not just a word or an act. It is a demonic attack on everything Christianity stands for, a transgression of evil, immoral wickedness and straight from Satan himself.

Adam did sin and caused a situation so bad until there was no way to have fellowship with God. From Adam to Jesus at the cross, Jesus was able to bridge the gap to our heavenly Father, and now we can fellowship with Him.

Romans 6:9-10  Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God

Knowing that Christ being raise from the dead and dies no more, means that his work was a finished work and doesn’t require anything else. All sin has been atoned. If death has no more dominion over Him, it has no more dominion over us.

This means the power over the sin nature is broken. Even though the sin nature is not dead, we are dead unto the sin nature by virtue of the cross and our faith in that sacrifice, but only as long as our faith continues in what Jesus did at the cross for us.

Romans 6:12   12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Showing that the sin nature can once again rule in the heart and life of a believer, the mortal body is neutral which means it can be used for righteousness or unrighteousness.

Ungodly thoughts of Satan and his demonic co-host can be carried out through the body if our faith and soul is not maintained by the word.

We are to yield ourselves to Christ. That alone guarantees victory over the sin nature.

Romans 6:16   16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

The believer is either a servant to Christ or a slave to sin, which will happen if he doesn’t keep the faith in Christ Jesus.

The believer is required to obey the word of the Lord. You can’t do that in your own strength, only by wisdom and discerning of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:23   23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is speaking of spiritual death which is separation from the presence of God. this will never happen to a dedicated believer who is totally focused on the things of the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:23, 26, 27   23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 26   26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27   27 Neither give place to the devil.

Being renewed in your spirit is a continuous act in the spirit of your mind. Which is the thinking part of your soul, and it has to do with the human will, which is another part of your soul.

The mind of the believer must be pulled from the dependence on self to a total dependence on Christ Jesus.

Vs 26. The only anger allowed is righteous anger. All other anger is a result of the (old man) our flesh, and has to do basically with our emotions which can only be properly settled by the spiritual aspects of our soul.

Vs 27. To keep the devil from having a place in your life is nothing more than renewing your mind, which is the way you think, with the word of God. And taking authority over the devil in Jesus name. he has no right to be in a believer’s life.

1 John 3:8-9   He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Who ever practices sin is doing the work of the devil, A true born-again believer of God does not live a life of habitual sinning.

Most of the sin is done by habit or a rebellious nature. A person that is born of God does not practice sin for the word of God remains in him.

1 John 5:14   14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Proper believing gives us proper confidence which is proper assurance. It is a fact that we are assured of this, even though we may not see an immediate answer to prayer. We know that his will is his word.

Hebrews 10: 1-4   10 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

The law of Moses was only meant to be temporary. It portrayed Christ who was to come later. It was impossible for the law to present a proper image of who and what Christ would be.

The animal sacrifice could only cover sin. It was never intended for it to take away sin. That was for Jesus to do.

The sacrifice of the blood of Jesus in fact did what the sacrifice of bulls and goats could not do. The phrase (no more conscience of sin) should not be misunderstood as no more consciousness of sin.

The Holy Spirit will always remind you as a believer before you sin. Whatever is not of faith is sin.

Faith that is proper faith is the criteria for all things. Speaking of Jesus and him crucified any other kind of faith is sin.

Hebrews 10: 26   26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Real faith does not bypass the mind and the emotions. Faith is an action word, to sin willfully is to commit sin with settled intention.

To persist in an intentional sin amounts to open rebellion against God and His word. It is impossible for one who has been born again to live in this intentional sin.

Satan constantly seeks to detour Gods people away from Gods path. People that meet regularly with other believers will be more likely to not give up in the face of temptation.

Disobedience…

Romans 5:19   19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Christs obedience is greater than Adams disobedience. Through Adams disobedience judgment came to all men resulting in condemnation.

Every person born from Adam to Jesus was condemned and guilty with a sin nature. Even so through the act of Christ Jesus the free gift came to all men by his righteous act, resulting in justification of all lives.

Ephesians 5:6-7   Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Habits of sin have no place in a believer’s life and neither do people whose lifestyles are characterized by such habits.

People who continually do evil deeds are not truly members of Gods big plan. We need only the whole armor and his mighty power to win over the wiles of Satan.

After the garden of Eden, the time between the closing of the book of Malachi and the beginning of the gospels, the intertestamental period is often referred to as the 400 silent years.

In those centuries no biblical record exists of God speaking to mankind in any way. Not by his spirit, by prophetic word or angelic messenger.

God remained silent until the day he heard Zacharias prayer. This is what sin and disobedience will do when we ignore him as God and creator of all.

Titus 1:16   16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

People profess that they know God and trust him but in works they deny him. They keep trying to earn salvation by their works.

Which at the same time denies the finished work of Christ. In this manner the Holy Spirit labels all who attempt to serve God out side what was done at the cross, reprobate, which means disapproved of.

Titus 3:3-7    For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

In the past, at least in the young years most people made wrong choices and did foolish things. We had lack of understanding as to Gods word considering spiritual things.

We were disobedient to God and very disappointing, serving different Lust and pleasures as the lifestyle of the unbeliever. Thanks be to Jesus who appeared and redeemed us.

It was impossible for the works of man to save himself. Salvation springs entirely from the Lord and Gods grace by faith saved us from our sin and disobedience and spending eternity along with Satan in the lake of fire.

GOD HAS A PLAN

GOD HAS A PLAN

John 14: 12-13   12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

The key word here is he that believes in me. This is called total trust. If you want to do the works that Jesus did and greater works you must have such a spiritual connection with the Holy Spirit that you that you know without a doubt that you can do these works.

Philippians 4:13   13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

JOHN 14:17   17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The world cannot receive the spirit of truth neither can he know him. We as believers can receive him because the spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit and this same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will quicken (to make alive or the give keener perception) our mortal bodies by his spirit that dwells in you.

ROMANS 8:11   11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

John 14:26   26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The job of the Holy Spirit is being our spiritual teacher who gives us wisdom, discernment and also the gifts of the Holy Spirit to the church.

The Holy spirit abides or lives in us forever. Creating an awareness, making us aware when we are about to go wrong.

God wants you to live an abundant life and the Holy Spirit wants to lead you in that abundant life.

You are not created to live the normal life. You are created to live the life that goes above and beyond the average or normal.

If you have accepted Jesus as savior you are children of the supernatural. What ever you need to learn the Holy Spirit is there to teach you.

Being saved is more than not going to hell, wisdom of how to live a righteous life is revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit.

Everything you will ever need to live your Christian life is already inside of you in its entirety. Now we must acknowledge what has already been done and accept it.

We have to believe beyond the flesh or the natural and start believing with our heart.

1 Corinthians 2:9    But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Mankind can not imagine the future things which has been prepared for the believer that truly loves God.

Your feelings are the voice of your flesh, reasoning is the voice of your soul, and your conscience is the voice of your spirit

If you are going to walk in the spirit, you will need a guide, the Holy Spirit is that guide.

It is not enough to just be a Christian. Lots of Christians are being defeated. They are sick busted and confused.

For most of them it is easier to follow the ten commandments (which is the Law) that can be seen, than to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, which they cannot see.
Proverbs 3:5   Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

It is saying to not lean on you own understanding. This is important.

Matthew 16:15-19   15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Flesh and blood cannot reveal things to the spirit. Only God through the Holy Spirit to your spirit reveals. Unless God wants to speak himself.

In other words what you allow to happen on earth God allows in heaven.

God revealed a secret to Peter, he found favor with him. This was revelation straight from the father.

If you walk in the spirit of god, through His Holy Spirit he will supernaturally speak through your spirit.

Upon this rock, I will build my church, and I will give the keys to the kingdom. What is bound on earth is bound in heaven. What is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven.

No one can stop the revelation of Wisdom and knowledge of God. You cannot be defeated walking in the spirit.

You can not stop a person who has revelation knowledge.

Peter received this wisdom from the Holy Spirit as to who Jesus was. Through his spirit.

John 16:13   13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Holy Spirit of truth has come as a guide, to guide you into all truth. He transmits to you what the father has. The Fathers truth is transferred from spirit to spirit.

We are to have an understanding mind and a hearing heart.

What can the devil do with a Christian who has a hearing heart? Understanding what he the devil doesn’t understand.

The Holy Spirit grants you access to what you don’t understand. When the Holy Spirit speaks to you it is always to build you up.

Everything you need in life has been provided through grace.

Philippians 4:19   19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God supplies all your needs.

Many times, we do things we don’t know is wrong we do them from the lack of knowledge.

Even though as Christians we are saved, we still live in the flesh. The flesh still has the same old problem. It wants its way and it wants it now.

When you are born again your spirit does not participate or agree with the flesh. Don’t give place to your flesh, it will lie to you.

The devil likes to attack when your conscious is in a sin place, thus keeping your faith from working.

Stay in the word, allow the word to adjust your mind. We need the Holy Spirit in our lives to help us battle our flesh.

You may have been born again, but you still have that sin nature to battle.

Praise God we still have the victory as long as we stay righteous before God.

Romans 8:28   28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

How do we know that all things will work together for good to them that love God?

If you are trying to discern the answer to this in the natural, you will fail.

It is impossible to know the love of God in the natural, because the Holy Spirit is the connection between God and man.

It is the revealed wisdom of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s love that lets us know what God speaks is all truth.

This is how we can know that all things can work together for good to them that love God. If you love God, he will call you for and according to his purpose

If you don’t love God, he can’t choose you or call you for any purpose because the things of God only work through love.

Matthew 22:14   14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Many are called for Gods purpose, but are led astray by the world’s rebellious ways. Few are chosen because God knew us before we were even born.

Romans 8:29-30   29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

God foreknew us and predestinated us to be like the image of His son Jesus Christ. And those he predestinated them he called, and who he called he also justified and the ones he justified he glorified.

When God speaks of the word predestinate it means the purpose for which someone is appointed to.

Before we were born physically to our father and mother we were in heaven as a spirit. The real you is a spirit, created in heaven known in heaven and at the right time for the purpose of Gods calling you were destinated to be born for Gods purpose.

The real you is a spirit the flesh is to be a device to house the spirit. If you were not a spirit created in heaven prior to your being here how could you be pre-known, pre-destinated, justified and glorified.

The word predestinated means God did actually know us before we were ever born physically.
Romans 8: 29   29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

That is why and how Mary, Jesus physical Mother, could deliver a physical baby without a man.

When God sends you to earth as a spirit you as human will have a free will to make decision as to which path you want to follow.

You can choose the natural way and be led by the things of the world or you can choose the spiritual way and be led by the spirit.

Because you were foreknown, God knew everything about you. You were predestinated to come to earth for the purpose of serving God.

When you die physically in the flesh, your spirit which is the real you will live eternally. Your spirit is eternal, and will spend its eternal life with the heavenly saints or it will spend its eternal life in the lake of fire.
The choice is yours. Seek God and find the destination God has for you?

The Reality of the Rapture

The Reality of the Rapture

The significance of this study is not to let ourselves fall under wrong teachings, or to steal your faith and hope concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus who will receive his body (the church) unto himself.

After studying for years on the topic of prophecy and revelation, which was mostly for my own personal knowledge. At the time I never thought I would be teaching it to believers.

The closer we get to the end times; I have begun to realize the body of Christ needs to understand these end time events.

That is why I believe this study will help you get a firm grip on the hope that is set before you concerning Christ’s return.

I believe it will reassure you of the reality of the rapture. First, we must not ignore the Word of God.

Some say the bible never mentions the word rapture.

Technically that is true.

The word Rapture is not found in the bible. It is simply a substitute word we use that means “caught up” or “a catching away.

The rapture of Gods people can be found throughout the scriptures. Not just in revelation but in biblical history as well.

The rapture isn’t just a future event. Three raptures have already taken place.

Hebrews 11:5   By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God

2 Kings 2:11   11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Mark 16:19   19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

The bible even tells us of Old Testament saints who were resurrected when Jesus arose and were seen walking the streets of Jerusalem before they were caught up into Heaven.

Matthew 27:52-53   52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

This was Just after Jesus’ resurrection. Even thought they were resurrected they couldn’t go to heaven yet because Jesus had not returned to heaven to prepare for them.

There is nothing new about such teachings. They have been around since the apostle Paul wrote to the Colossian church.

Revelation 3:10   10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

To the unsaved person thinking in the natural this might seem somewhat illogical.

Doctrines that are not scriptural can rob you of the promises of God. There are those who say we are not going to go up but grow up in Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-18   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

In addition to the coming rapture of the church, revelation tells us of a mid tribulation rapture of a great multitude of tribulation saints

The following gives details on this subject.

Revelation 7: 1-17

Afterwards there will be a rapture of the two witnesses who stand against the antichrist.

Revelation 14:1-3   14 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

There you will find the 144,000 Jewish evangelists that have been raptured.

To say there is no rapture you would have to ignore the bible and close your mind to the words of the Apostle Paul and others.

The bible reveals that there are several raptures, of which three have already taken place.

The rapture of Enoch, Elijah and Jesus have already taken place next is the church then the mid tribulation saints.

At the three- and one-half year period the 144,000 Jewish evangelist and at the last day of the great tribulation the two witnesses will be raptured

If you are a born-again believer it is the heart cry of Jesus that you be with him where he is.

He said so himself in John

John 14:1-3   Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Notice Jesus did not say: I will come again you will receive me unto yourself, that where you are, I may be also.

It will be a wonderful time in heaven but it won’t last long. We will be coming back to Earth with Jesus  to rule and reign for a thousand years at the end of the seven year period.

Jesus said, I will receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. That is a big difference in those two statements.

Revelation 19: 11-16   11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

Actually, you have to have help to misunderstand what Jesus is saying

Matthew 24:29-31   29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Some critics have accused those who believe in the rapture of looking for a great escape. It is scriptural to look for the rapture.

Luke 21:36   36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Paul is referring to when Jesus comes in the clouds to receive us unto Himself, and we go with him to heaven for the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

If there wasn’t a rapture the church wouldn’t be able to take part in that marriage supper because it takes place in heaven after the rapture.

There is another rapture, during the last three- and one-half years of tribulation on earth; the saints will be at a banquet with Jesus in Heaven.

This is something that too many believers are worried about, and it is not necessary for the child of God to consider going thru any part of the tribulation.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Before we go any farther let’s examine the phrase falling away. Many have taken that phrases at face value and said that in the end times people are going to fall away from the church in great numbers.
The word of God does not mention such a falling away.
We need to ask ourselves what does that phrase mean?
After doing some research I find that the words falling away can also be translated a removing away from.
I believe that Paul is saying that the church must be removed away from the earth before the Anti-christ can be revealed.

2 Thessalonians 2:5-8   Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

There has been a lot of controversy over the phrase, he that letteth and until he be taken out of the way.
Some think the he in this phrase is the Holy Spirit. that he must be taken out of the earth before the antichrist can be revealed.

But if you will study the scripture you will find that during the tribulation period there are going to be multitudes of people saved.

Since people can’t be saved without the Holy Spirit drawing them to Christ, we know it is not the Holy Spirit that will be removed.

He that is taken out of the way is the body of Christ, the Church. It is the true church who is holding back the antichrist.

The body of Christ is inhibiting him and he will not be revealed or released until the church is taken out of the way.

People ask if the rapture of the church is a biblical certainty and why doesn’t the book of revelation say much about it?

I consider that a fair question. It is because the majority of the book of revelation is written about events that take place after the church is caught away.

Read it for yourselves and you will see what I mean.

You will find out that the first three chapters of revelation deal with the seven Churches that are representative of all churches at this time.

Revelation 4:1   After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Think about this verse, it refers to a voice like a trumpet that says come up hither.

1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18   16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Now let’s put that together with what we read in 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18. Paul says with a trump of God we shall all be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

There is no doubt that the trumpeted phrase come up hither is Gods call to the church.

The church is not mentioned again as being on earth.

Then in revelation 5:9-10 the bible shows us a heavenly scene taking place before the throne of God.

Revelation 5:9-10   And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Who are these people singing this new song?

It is the church that has been raptured and is in heaven.

At this time, you must be right or be left! If there is going to be a second coming with all his saints with Him, we would have to be in heaven to be able to come back with him. Proof that the rapture has happened before the tribulation period.
