Exodus: God and Kings

I went to see the movie “Exodus: Gods and Kings” this week. I was expecting that there would probably be some
I am not only disappointed but amazed at how much of the story of what God did for Moses and the Hebrew children was left out:
To me, this seems to be more a work of the enemy to make light of God’s victories. Satan’s first victory was to convince a large part of the world that he doesn’t exist, now, as the End Times approach, that Old Dragon is using Hollywood to convince people that God’s miracles didn’t ever happen.
The Passover foreshadows Christ; Satan through this movie is trying to steal His victory. Christ was crucified the day before Passover was to begin. In fact Passover began at dusk the day he was crucified.
If that Old Dragon can make the world forget about Passover and how it connects to what Jesus did, that would be a great victory for the Master of Deception.
- It started out that Miriam brought the boy to the Pharaohs daughter, they didn’t hint at the fact that Moses had been placed in a basket and floated down the river.
- Instead of Moses fleeing from Pharaoh like it says in Exodus 2:15 they depicted that Moses was banished.
- God did not speak to Moses from a flaming bush; they had a young boy as God speaking face to face with Moses.
- The water in the river was bloody by means of crocodiles attacking and making the bloody water. In Exodus 4:9 says it shall become blood after it is drawn from the river.
- In Exodus 4:15 it speaks of Aaron being there with Moses to speak for him, this did not happen in the movie.
- When the tablets were made, Moses was chiseling them out himself – no mention of God helping.
- In general all the things that God did as Moses took the Hebrews into the desert were left out. The pillar of a cloud by day and a pillar of fire to give them light by night, as it says in Exodus 13: 21.
- There was so very much that was so wrong about the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. It is too much to mention on this blog.

Hollywood is used by the enemy to deceive many. Anyway, I won't watch this movie and will tell more not to watch because its all deception. I'm sure this movie will flop just like the recent movie Noah.

ReplyDeleteI think that it is good that the movie Exodus was made. Only those who know and have read the book will not be fooled. In other words, everyone has the chance to find out the truth for themselves. Anyone who has a Bible can read the truth for themselves. This separates those who read the Bible and those who don't.
