BEING CONFIDENT IN THE WORD

 

Philippians 1:6   Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Paul is saying, be confident, or have confidence in what he is teaching: so, what is this very thing?

It’s the good news that God invested in you, when you made Jesus lord of your life through faith.

That this word of faith will perform or finish this work or, this very thing, until the day of Jesus Christ.

Paul was communicating the word from what god told him, to the Philippian church

Paul is saying, have confidence in God’s holy word.

The word confidence means, an assurance of mind or firm belief in the trustworthiness of another, or in the truth and reality of a fact.

Galatians 6:6   let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

We are to communicate unto him that teaches all good things. This is addressing Christ Jesus because of the word ALL good things.

That is why it is so important to have communication with our Lord and our God. God created us for the purpose of having a family to communicate with.

When you speak to God, the words you speak activates Gods word. It transfers His word directly through your spirit. this is how God communicates with us. This is done by His Holy Spirit to our spirit. from the Holy Spirit to the natural man.

Let the person that has been taught about the word of God, then, that person should communicate with the one that does the teaching.

That’s how we grow in the word, through communication with the one that does the teaching.

We grow through communication.

The word communication means, to make known, that is to say, share or participate, the good news of Christ Jesus with as many people as possible.

It also means to transfer or release the power and authority from faith toward the people that might not understand the word.

This is the purpose of a believer. You as a believer must know what faith is, what faith does, and how to use faith. This is how you will be able to reach others and bring some to believe in Jesus.

You can’t transfer or release something you don’t have or something you don’t know.

So how do we get this word, so we can transfer or release it in our spiritual lives?

Roman 10:17   so then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Hearing by the word of God is the communication that transfers or releases the power and authority from faith.

That the forces of faith, might become effectual, or have adequate power to produce what the word through faith says and do what the word says it will do.

You also release those forces of faith by acknowledging every good thing which is in you by Christ Jesus.

Faith is a tool used by the assurance that when we speak we can know with a firm belief and trust in the truth of Gods word, and that it will accomplish what we decree and declare.

It is by faith that you release or transfer that communication from your spirit to your body.

Your spirit man is the real you. Your body is just the house the spirit lives in.

Hebrews 11:1   now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is not just a word, faith is a substance, it is the evidence of things not seen.

You need to stay alert, and acknowledge this “good thing” which is in you in Christ Jesus.

You must believe and confess the reality of the soul, spirit and the word, and that the power of it is real.

That reality and power will transfer knowledge from the spirit man to the natural man.

We need to be confident of the good work of God, which he will perform in us.

Isaiah 55:11   so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which i please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto i sent it.

When God speaks… things take action, when you speak, your words activate the power of God.

The power of life and death is in the tongue of the believer.

Proverbs 18:21   ²¹ Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Be careful of the words you speak. Are your words spoken in love, is it the truth, is it factual? Take time to give thought to your words.

Jeramiah 17:9   ⁹ The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Most of the time when we speak it is according to how we feel, or what someone may have said to you. No matter what is said keep your heart and thinking pure.

3 John 1:2   beloved i wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Since your spirit has been sealed when you became a believer, we need to concentrate on keeping our soul right with God so he will be able to prosper us.

Release the wisdom of the word in everything that pertains to the purpose of your life.

Speak the word, it works.

When you speak his word, it activates and transfers Gods power and authority from your spirit which is supernatural to the body, which is natural.

Isaiah 54:17   no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper: and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. this is the heritage of the servants of the lord.

No weapon, natural or supernatural, will prosper when it comes against you. We are the heritage of the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5   ⁵ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Start trusting God, he is still in control. Don’t lean on your natural understanding. This can go very wrong very fast by trusting in our natural understanding.

Speak to your brain tell it you are in charge and for it to do its job.  let it know that it has been slack lately and you are not happy about it.

Tell it to line up with the mind of Christ Jesus and the word of God.

Your brain’s job is to regulate the body. if your body hurts speak to the hurt, tell it you are in control.

Your brain and your thinking regulate the body because the brain is the control room of your soul.

Talk to your finances, tell them to get in line with the word of God.

Let the spiritual body tell the natural body who is boss.

Reach out and take this power and authority that Jesus paid for, and invested in you so that you might be strong and fight that good fight of faith.

You also need the confidence in God with an assurance in the truth and the mercy of God.

Now you see why you can’t please God without faith.

The very thing Paul was talking about was the blessed hope in Christ Jesus.

Millennium

  

The millennial reign starts at the Second coming of Christ’s appearing.

Revelation 19:11-14   ¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Revelation 19:20   ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

This is when Jesus comes to earth with the saints to fight against the armies of the anti-Christ in the Jezreel valley also known as Megiddo of the battle of Armageddon.

 

There will be three classes of people who reign with Christ during the millennium which is also called the thousand-year reign

 

One will be the saints that have been raptured at the last day of the period of grace…

 

^{Revelation 19:14       14} And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

 

Group two will be made up of resurrected Old Testament saints, as well as Enoch: Also, the armies which were in heaven.

This class will be the old testament saints such as the disciples and the first people to accept Jesus as Lord.

Daniel 12: 1-2     12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

² And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Group three will be the host of resurrected saints of the tribulation hour.

Group three are the saints resurrected sometime during the tribulation hour.

Revelation 20:4     And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

These are the ones that were beheaded as witnesses of Jesus and the ones who had not worshiped the beast, neither his image.

The sixth seal releases a cataclysmic event, a great earthquake. This is reserved for the last day of the tribulation when Jesus returns to set up his kingdom on earth.

Revelation 6:12-14   ¹² And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

¹³ And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

¹⁴ And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

No man can escape Jesus, the final day and the battle of Armageddon.

Revelation 6: 15-17   ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

¹⁶ And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

¹⁷ For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand

The word of God makes it clear that the event to usher in the millennium will be when the Lords feet touch down on the Mount of Olives.

Zechariah 14: 3-4   ³ Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

⁴ And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Jesus’ promise to his church is fulfilled, the rapture has com and gone, and the tribulation upon earth has accomplished its goal.

At the return of Christ, there will be an earthquake with such force that it will break the mountains in two halves, violence will increase.

Revelation 16:18    ¹⁸ And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

The last battles at the end of the seven year tribulation period are three different battles.

First Russia and her allies will come against Israel, China and its army of two hundred million, then the final battle with Christ.

Now in the Millennium of a thousand years you need to understand that righteous living will occur during this time period but it is not a time of perfection.

Because those who entered the Kingdom after the judgment of the nations in Matthew 25 will still be housed in normal bodies with old natural ways which their children will inherit.

It is important to remember that when we are raptured, our bodies will be like Jesus’ body.

But those who remain will still have their natural bodies with which they will still be able to procreate and have children.

These people will escape the terrible tribulation period, they had to have accepted Jesus as Lord to make it.

Because of this situation, Christ must rule with a rod of iron to keep people in line. Even though there’s no devil to tempt them.

Millions will go into His kingdom as righteous people but bear children who turn away from the Lord.

These people are on earth, but we will be in the Holy City hovering above the earth.

The good news concerning the Earth dwellers is that sin is limited, making it possible for people to live long lives during the millennium

Isaiah 65:20-25   ²⁰ There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

²¹ And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

²² They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

²³ They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.

²⁴ And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

²⁵ The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

We that live in the Holy City have glorified bodies and don’t sin, we live eternally in the city at the beginning of the millennium reign.

The sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed means that any person living at that time who hasn’t given his heart and life to Christ by that time he is 100 years old will be judged at the white throne judgement.

As well as during Christ’s eternal kingdom reign upon the earth after the millennium.

At this time after the thousand-year reign, all the people will have received glorified bodies.

Matthew 6:10   ¹⁰ Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

What some do not realize is that the Jews are preparing to build a third temple in Jerusalem for worship.

This temple becomes the temple where the Anti-christ sits. This can not be the fourth temple of Ezekiel 40:48 that Jesus occupies.

Ezekiel 40:48   ⁴⁸ And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side

The sacrifices are still in the last three and a half years in the third temple. Reason for that is the same reason that Christians remember Christ’s sacrifice today.

It is called communion and we read of its significance in 1^st Corinthians.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26    ²³ For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

²⁴ And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

²⁵ After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

²⁶ For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

  The Jews will be saying we now bring our loving remembrance to you because of what you did for us on the cross to provide for our remission of sins.

This is the Jewish peoples way of taking communion in remembrance of Christ Jesus.

Now the New Jerusalem which is the Holy City is so bright that its glow will light the world both day and night.

It’s where we will live in new spiritual bodies that allow us to walk through walls, disappear and reappear at will, travel at the speed of our own desires, just as Jesus did in his resurrection body.

Luke 24;36   ³⁶ And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

³⁷ But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

³⁸ And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

³⁹ Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

⁴⁰ And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

⁴¹ And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

1 CORINTHIAN 15:3-8   ³ For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

⁴ And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

⁵ And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

⁶ After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

⁷ After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

⁸ And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

Like Jesus housed in spirit bodies we will be able to see, touch, partake of food, and co-mingle with the humans on earth.

Luke 24:39-42   ³⁹ Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

⁴⁰ And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

⁴¹ And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

⁴² And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

Same as Luke 24:36-41

We will be able to move across the universe at the speed of thought.

Even more exciting we will love in that new Holy City that hovers over the globe in the millennium

Another key ingredient that will contribute to the millennium’s new way of doing business will be the elimination of the curse of Adams sin.

In Genesis chapter three God cursed the earth because of Adams iniquity. When Christ returns the terrible curse will be lifted.

Isaiah 30:23   ²³ Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

What a day this will be.

When we speak of Jerusalem in the study of bible prophecy, we need to remember that we are referring to two Jerusalems.

There is the city that exists in the holy land of Israel, and the New Jerusalem that hovers over the earth. Same name two entities.

So we observe two Jerusalems. The heavenly Jerusalem for those with new translated bodies, that are unable to sin, and the earthly Jerusalem, where the inhabitants still have fleshly bodies.

It is seventy trillion billion miles from earth to heaven and we can reach it in a twinkling of the eye. That’s eleven one hundredths of a second. How’s that for bolt of lightening thought.

Revelation 21:1-3   And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

² And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

³ And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Hebrews 12:22-23   ²² But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

²³ To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

New Jerusalem, new name, new people, new life.

In the New Jerusalem, there will be a service to God as never before.

Revelation 22:3   And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

The throne of God and the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. We are those servants.

All sin is wiped away in Heaven and there is nothing left that is a reminder of sin. This is Gods provision of a happy home for the saints of all ages.

Matthew 12:34   ³⁴ O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Jesus was calling the pharisees snakes, and did so to their face. Saying how can you, being so evil speak good things. Peoples words reveal their thoughts and character whether it be good or bad thoughts.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks means, the heart is speaking words of good or words of evil out of this abundance of what the mind has allowed from the thoughts to enter the heart.

This is not good. Because of wrong intentions. We must have good determination with an extreme degree to change the way we think. We need to consciously determine not to let the bad thoughts enter our heart.

Proverbs 18:21   ²¹ Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Christians who’s talk is constantly doubt are talking death and problems. Those who speak the word and positive things of God speak life. The way you think can change your life.

These statements illustrate the power words have. What a person says will often return to him or her in some way. Adding or subtracting from their life. Our speech does have consequences.

Matthew 12:36-37   ³⁶ But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

³⁷ For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Every idle word that we speak, is talking about claims of righteousness which did not exist, and an account shall be given in the day of judgement.

Whatever is in the heart eventually comes out of the mouth. Abundance means an excess or overflow and refers to the core of the nature of a person that will eventually surface.

For by your words you shall be justified. This is a confession of Christ and the price that he paid on the cross will justify any person.

The term by your words you shall be condemned is a confession of anything other than Christ and the cross will be condemned.

Proverbs 28:14   ¹⁴ Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Hardening of the heart will cause you to do things you would never do before your heart hardened. It can cause you to go astray. A broken and contrite heart produces a happiness that only God can give. The hardened heart can not be reached by the Holy Spirit.

We must as believers be totally dedicated to have a soft heart and a fixed mindset on the Lord. We must have the word of God as our standard, following Him seeking His will for our life.

Jerimiah 17: 9-10   ⁹ The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

¹⁰ I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

God knows the hopeless intent and corruption of the natural heart. He says, no one cultured and moral can either see or enter into the kingdom of God, unless there is a new birth.

The Lord searches our heart, only God can know our heart. I try the reins I referring to the Lord allowing certain things to take place according to the disposition of the person involved.

The Lord knows all things, in other words, what is in the heart of man, even before man knows his own heart. In order that man I not able to say that he was unjustly judged the Lord allows events to transpire, which always reveals exactly what is in the heart, whether good or bad.

The word of God backs up the desperate wickedness of the human heart. The primary characteristics of being in the flesh is an absolute inability to please God.

Galatians 5:19-21   ¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

²⁰ Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

²¹ Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

If one chooses to operate in an unrestrained behavior known as the works of the flesh, it implies that we are not allowing ourselves to be led by the Spirit. as we invite the Holy Spirit to direct us, he enables us to defeat the power of the flesh more and more so we can walk in the way of freedom and righteousness.

The works of the flesh fall into three categories. Sensual sin, spiritual sin, and social sin. These wicked deeds are clearly seen, evident to the eye and performed out in the open.

Notice that most works of the flesh are social sins. It is in our personal relationships that the desire of the flesh often reacts.

If one is walking in the flesh, one or more of the sins will manifest themselves in our life. The only way to walk in perpetual victory is to understand that everything we do refers to the Holy Spirit. He works exclusively within the confines of the sacrifice of Christ Jesus, and will exert His might power on our behalf, enabling us to live a holy life.

Colossians 1:8-9    ⁸ Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

⁹ For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

It is love that was declared unto us, in the spirit. Love was produced by the spirit of God, made possible through the finished work of the cross.

God desires that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will for your life, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding which proceeds only from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

No one regardless of education or theology degrees can understand the word of God without the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. The carnal mind will never produce understanding of the spiritual realm.

You can’t use Gods word to justify your natural lifestyle. God only works through the Holy Spirit in spiritual matters.

People who do this are not letting the word change their lives, they are changing the word to fit their lives. In the vanity of their carnal mind they are living in the sphere of emptiness and shows their ignorance of divine things. They have a moral blindness.

Having their understanding darkened is speaking of a process completed in the past, but having results in the present, therefore being alienated from the life of God.

Because of the ignorance that is in people who don’t have the knowledge of Gods word, or the wisdom of the Holy Spirit it produces blindness of the heart and mind which brings spiritual blindness.

Ephesians 1:18   ¹⁸ The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

The eyes of your understanding must be spiritually enlightened so you can have the knowledge of the hope of his calling and actually know what the hope really is, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance is. The saints are that inheritance.

Ephesians 5:17   ¹⁷ Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

This is referring to not being unwise about the things of God. Time is precious, and time could be very short. We are not promised tomorrow, we may have only a few short days to make the choices that will bring us eternal life.

We can only make the right choice depending on our spiritual wisdom.

2 Timothy 2:7   ⁷ Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

Paul is saying, consider what I say and the Lord will give you understanding in all things. The Holy Spirit will always help the sincere seeker understand the right direction of the word of God.

Trying to understand Gods word with the natural mind is trying to believe for something without a clue where to start.

Isaiah 55:8-9   ⁸ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

The idea of this passage is that the thoughts of God and the ways of God are so far above the comprehension of mankind that mankind must take these statements by faith.

Through the word of God, we are given a glimpse of his thoughts and His ways. Few believers take advantage of this treasure-trove of wisdom.

Philippians 4:7    ⁷ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The peace of God is totally different from what we humans think. It is a sanctifying peace which is beyond all human understanding. By setting apart His thoughts of peace from our thoughts of what peace is, which is much higher that the human mind can grasp, far beyond our human comprehension.

This sanctifying peace of God will allow you to keep your hearts and mind focused on the things of Christ Jesus and the cross.

If you don’t have this understanding of what the word represents for your eternal destination please seek a spirit filled pastor or christen to mentor you that you might gain the wisdom and understanding that God has for your life.

Jesus came to fulfill the word so we could fulfill our mission in life. We are to win souls for the Lord and mentor Gods people so that they might have a greater understanding of his word.

As you are focusing on the word remember that the old Testament was under the Law. The new Testament is under grace.

Don’t take verses of scripture out of context. Read more, before and after the verse to obtain the meaning. Don’t try to get the bible to fit your lifestyle, it is meant to restore your relationship with the Lord. Stay focused on Jesus, not on yourself, he knows your needs before you do.

Matthew 6:8   ⁸ Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Our heavenly Father is omniscient, which means he knows all things. Past, present and future. Jesus refers to the father more than 70 times throughout the gospels. Calling God, Father, who acknowledges His intimate love for his children and our position as members of Gods family.

Philippians 4:19   ¹⁹ But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

If we trust God at His word and live holy before him, we will have our needs met. God desires for you to trust Him and focus on Him instead of the world. He can then give us the spiritual insight we need to receive directions from the Holy Spirit and be blessed beyond our wildest dreams.

Continue daily to walk closer to God. Giving Him the credit for your life and all you have. Seek to have a personal relationship with him.

The Power of Wisdom

 

Proverbs 3:13   ¹³ Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Happiness and joy are two different things. Happiness pertains to externals and can be enjoyed even by the ungodly. Joy pertains to that which is within and can only be enjoyed by those who know the Lord and have the precious fruits of the Spirit.

 

James 1:5   ⁵ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

This is referring to proper knowledge of the word of God. there are two sources of wisdom, Gods wisdom and worldly wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to use your knowledge and make it work for you.

You must have Gods wisdom working in your life. Knowledge alone is not enough. Only three percent of people in business for themselves succeed.

A lot of college graduates end up a failure, not because they didn’t have knowledge, but because they lacked the wisdom to make their knowledge work for them.

Wisdom does not come from reasoning; wisdom grows out of Love. Success grows out of wisdom.

 

Colossians 1:9   ⁹ For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

That your might be filled with the knowledge of His will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. That you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing.

This is the hope that has been laid up for us in Heaven. Being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Strengthened with all might according to His glorious power. Who has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son.

Wisdom never acts outside of love. Love is the basis of God. Through wisdom God has given us the ability to enjoy our inheritance.

Jesus has made wisdom available to us. Wisdom is in the Word, life is in the word, however we need the Holy Spirits wisdom and discerning to understand the true meaning of the word.

A barn full of natural knowledge is not enough. Without the wisdom to use it we will fail.

Ephesians 3:16-19   ¹⁶ That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

¹⁷ That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

¹⁸ May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

This is referring to all the revealed perfections of God, not just his grace and power. To be strengthened with might by His Spirit, will be done providing our faith is ever in the cross, by and through which the Holy Spirit works.

To know the love of Christ, speaks of knowledge gained by experience, to know the love of Christ you must have a relationship with him as Lord of your life, and continue your walk with him to keep developing the God kind of love.

To walk in love is to walk in the highest spiritual realm there is. We are to walk even as He walked. Since we have been given the same capacity as Jesus we are therefore responsible for it.

We must have knowledge of Gods word so the Holy spirit can give us understanding, then by faith when we walk in love, Gods manifestation of things will be perfected in us.

We must always put love first because Faith works by love and love always prevails. It produces victory. Then Gods goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life.

Hosea 4:6   ⁶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The lack of understanding the word of God holds more people in bondage than anything else. We must seek wisdom and understanding of who we are in Christ. We need to have an understanding of our place in Him and His place in us.

For this cause is referring to the fruit they were bearing for Christ with prayer offered for them that this fruit would continue and not be hindered by a false message.

Philippians 4:7    ⁷ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The peace of God is sanctifying peace, it’s beyond the understanding of the human mind. It keeps our hearts and minds renewed and that gives the Holy Spirit the latitude to help us.

Wisdom is available to every person, no one needs to be a failure. Until we place our dependance on God, his ability in us remains dormant. Staying dormant until we act on and confess the word of God.

Not using Gods knowledge is a lack of wisdom. We receive wisdom only as we make the confession of the word. Jesus is our wisdom, through his word and the Holy Spirit.

We are linked to all of Gods wisdom. Gods way of thinking is incorporated into our minds as we renew our minds daily by the word of God. Gods word is his will for our lives.

Don’t be slow to lean into Gods word and use it to open up all the avenues of success. He is waiting for us to speak and believe in his word.
