BODY-SOUL-SPIRIT

Service from our Friday meeting 12-30-16

BODY-SOUL-SPIRIT

In Genesis 1:1 the word says “in the beginning”. The word genesis means beginning or origin, and unfolds the record of the beginning of the world of the human history and of civilization, and salvation.

Genesis sets the stage for the entire bible. It reveals the person and nature of God, who is Creator, sustainer, judge and redeemer. The value and dignity of human beings, made in Gods image, saved by grace and used by God in the world.

That is where Genesis begins, when we read Genesis we should be encouraged. There is hope, no matter how dark the world situation seems, God has a plan.

No matter how weak you may feel in God’s word, he loves you and want to use you in his plan. You do have a purpose in His plan.

We will always be facing great choices, but with God we will win, disobedience occurs when people choose not to follow God’s plan of living. Genesis teaches us that the earth is well made and good.

People are special to God, especially the believers. They are unique when they obey God. They find peace with Him, with others and with themselves.

Genesis 1:26-27   26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Let us make man and ‘wo-man’ in our image, after our likeness.

Why did God use the plural form, ‘let us’ make people in our image? It was a reference to God the Father, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit. All of whom are God called the trinity.

The first human beings were formed from the earthly elements, and become living beings by receiving the breath of God, not pro-creation as of today through other human beings.

The body is made up of flesh and bones, the body that you see in the mirror and dress each day is actually not the real you, the real you is your soul and your spirit. Your body is the vehicle that carries and houses your spirit man.

1 John 4:1-4   Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

This is saying, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit, we must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. It also means that we shouldn’t believe everything we hear just because someone says it is a message from God.

There are many ways to test preachers/teacher, etc., to see if their message is truly form the Lord. One is to see if their words match what God says in the bible.

Other tests include their commitment to the body of believers, their lifestyle and the fruit of their ministry. But the most important test of all is what they believe about Christ Jesus, do they teach that Jesus is fully God and fully man.

Our world is filled with voices claiming to speak for God, give them these tests to see if they are indeed speaking for God.

People try to believe what they read or hear, unfortunately many ideas printed and taught are not true.

So, your flesh and bone body is only a vehicle to transfer your soul and spirit from one place to another. For instance, like your car.

If you have been redeemed by Christ Jesus, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Your soul is quite different than your body. It is made up of three parts: your mind, your will, and your emotions.

Ephesians 6:12   12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Paul is not only giving this counsel just to the church, but to all individuals within the church. As you do battle with the powers of darkness, light is the strength of the church, whose power comes from the Holy Spirit, it will protect your mind, known also as the helmet of salvation.

John 10:10   10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Satan comes to kill steal and destroy the word, our joy, and our righteous thoughts. The battle ground is in our minds.

Ephesians 4:23    23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

As we are renewed in the spirit of our mind, we must not be driven by impulse, we must put on the new nature, head in the new direction and have the new way of thinking that comes from the Holy Spirit. Renewing our minds with the word.

John 1: 12-13   12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Your mind is how you think; your will is what you do; and how you do it, as your mind dictates it. If you don’t renew your mind daily with the word, and protect it, Satan will steal the word and your ‘will’ won’t know the right way to respond.

Your will only responds to how you think. If you are filled with the spirit and the things of God, your ‘will’, can operate on that spiritual knowledge.

If you are not born again and focus on worldly things, then your ‘will’, operates on natural knowledge, which Satan can control at any time.

John 6:38-40   38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Again, we see where our “will” is something that we do; Jesus came down from Heaven, not to do his own “will” but to do his Fathers, ‘Gods’ “will”. God decided to send Jesus. If we believe on Him, ‘Jesus’, we would have everlasting life.

So, your will is something you do by choices. Same as it was Gods will to send Christ Jesus.

Your emotions!

Your emotions are a strange part of the human soul. Sometimes they can be very calm, and other times in a rage.

We often label different emotions into a common group. Like, happy or sad. We forget to experience that emotion for what it is.

Negative emotions can literally control our lives in a bad way, but positive emotions are always the same, happy, full of love, confident, and leads us into a relaxed life.

Positive emotions create positive thinking, self-motivation, self-esteem, and personal development. It all is according to how you think. Your mind, your will and your emotions are the three parts that make up your soul.

Emotions play a very big part of how your spirit man operates. However, even though your body, your soul and your spirit are three different controlling units, you must not allow your body and soul control your Spirit.

Your spirit is your inner man that abides in God’s word, it is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.

When the Holy Spirit comes and lives in a believer they will have the world, the flesh and the devil coming against them at the same time. Why?

Because you have woken up an evil spirit called Satan. He hates you and everything you stand for, now the game is on, you have two choices, are going to hold your ground or you will fold.

If you keep your soul and spirit in line you will be strong. If you let your soul, which is made up of your mind will and emotion, team up with your body, which is your flesh, your spirit man won’t have a chance.

The way to stop Satan is by the renewing of your mind, daily by the word of God. Satan is still walking the Earth seeking who he may devour. STAY ALERT.

RECEIVING YOUR BLESSINGS BY OBEDIENCE

Service from our Friday meeting 12-23-16

RECEIVING YOUR BLESSINGS BY OBEDIENCE

Jeremiah 17:7   Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

To be able to trust in the Lord you must first know who the Lord is.

Then you must have a personal relationship with him that can only come through the word and obedience.

God blesses us through obedience.
You can be prayed up, built up, lifted up, but if you are not obedient to the word of God you are not going to be blessed.

When you are obedient to Gods word, faith can produce healing, prosperity and peace of mind.

When you take action on God’s word, that is faith. Now God can reward you because you have trusted him.

When life gets to the point that you cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel, trust God. The problem with the church today is we only believe and do not respond to the word that is taught.

Satan will say, don’t trust what you cannot see. This is how most people see life.

You must admit the reality of something that you cannot see based on the word of God.

The unrighteous live by what they see, we the righteous of God thru Christ Jesus live by the inspired word of God; His will.

When you are convinced by the word of God that what he says is the truth, then, Gods power and presence will manifest in your life.

Jesus destroyed the evil and the strategies of the devil at Calvary with his blood and mercy.

Because of His mercy you have been able to enter into the family of God through grace. God’s grace.

Grace will give you the strength to walk by faith.

2 Corinthians 5:7   (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

God will strengthen your inner man then; your inner man will begin to follow Him.

That is what you lean on, not your own understanding.

To have that yoke destroying, burden removing power of God, you must first come to the grace of God, through obedience to God.

Put the word in your mouth, speak it in obedience.

The word says, what does it profit for anyone to profess that they have faith, but have no good works to show for it.

James 1: 22-23   22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

Ephesians 3:20   20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

You must give the Holy Spirit something to work with.

The same Holy spirit that directed the path of Jesus is the same spirit that dwells in us.

If we want God, the father to bless us we must walk in obedience.

WHEN THE WORD IS GONE

Service from our Friday meeting

WHEN THE WORD IS GONE

Phil. 3:18-19   18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

In these last days or better said, we are so close to the rapture days. The world situation is reaching the peak of evilness

People in the world have the mindset that if everyone is doing it then it must be ok… No conscious of sin or wrong doing, bombing churches, killing seems to be the thing to do.

There seems to be no right or wrong anymore. People are thinking only on this life on earth, their god is their appetite for shameful things, lust, money, sexual perversion…

Are we responding to the world situations or the inspired word of God? What will we do when the word is gone?

Several things need to take place before the end of days, which is after the rapture. But nothing needs to happen before the son of God takes us out of this world into His world. If you are not a believer and not serving God through his word, you are in trouble.

Mark 8: 36-38   36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

What would you give in exchange for your soul…? Your soul is made up of your mind, will and emotion.

What will it profit us if we gain all the things of the world and loose our eternity with Christ. Are we going to be ashamed to stand and look into the eyes of Jesus?

John 14: 6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:17   17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The world cannot receive the truth, because the truth only comes through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

You will never know the truth if you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life and received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who reveals truth to your spirit. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, now is a good time to do that. Say this, Lord thank you for coming to earth to save me. I invite you into my heart today. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Amen.

John 15: 18-19   18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Christians are not of this world; we are here only to be a vessel that Christ can use to carry out what he finished at the cross. The world hated Christ without a cause and the world will hate you also.

Very soon as Christians keep following the religions of the world and not following the word of God, the point of no return will keep getting smaller and smaller.

John 1: 1-5   1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The word of God overcame by the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ. This is what the cross is about…

It’s all about the Lord, loving him, serving him, being ready for him to come and take us to heaven when the time is right. Don’t get left behind.

What will you do when the word is gone?

BY DECREEING AND DECLARING

Service from our Friday meeting 12-9-16

BY DECREEING AND DECLARING

Philippians 1:6   Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Paul is saying, be confident, or have confidence in what he is teaching: so, what is this very thing?

It’s the good news that god invested in you, when you made Jesus lord of your life through faith.

That this word of faith will perform or finish this work or, this very thing, until the day of Jesus Christ.

Paul was communicating the word from what god told him, to the Philippian church

Paul is saying, have confidence in God’s holy word.

The word confidence means, an assurance of mind or firm belief in the trustworthiness of another, or in the truth and reality of a fact.

Galatians 6:6-7   let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

7          be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Let the person that has been taught about the word of God, then, that person should communicate with the one that does the teaching.

That’s how we grow in the word, through communication with the one that does the teaching.

we grow through communication.

The word communication means, to make known, that is to share or participate, the good news of Christ Jesus.

It also means to transfer or release the power and authority from faith.

You can’t transfer or release something you don’t have or something you don’t know.

So how do we get this word, so we can transfer or release it in our spiritual lives?

Roman 10:17   so then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Hearing by the word of god is the communication that transfers or releases the power and authority from faith.

That the forces of faith, might become effectual, or have adequate power to produce what the word through faith says. what the word says it will do.

You also release those forces of faith by acknowledging every good thing which is in you by Christ Jesus.

It is by faith that you release or transfer that communication from your spirit to your body.

Your spirit man is the real you.

Hebrews 11:1   now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

faith is not just a word, faith is a substance, it is the evidence of things not seen.

you need to stay alert, and acknowledge this “good thing” which is in you in Christ Jesus.

You must believe and confess the reality of the soul, spirit and the word, and that the power of it is real.

That reality and power will transfer knowledge from the spirit man to the natural man.

We need to be confident of the good work of God, which he will perform in you.

Isaiah 55:11   so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which i please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto i sent it.

When God speaks… things take action, when you speak, your words activate the power of God.

Life and death is in the tongue of the believer.

His word shall accomplish that which he pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing where he sends it.

3 john 1:2   beloved i wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Once you realize you can release you’re healing in your body through the stripes of Jesus, you can overcome sickness.

Release the wisdom of the word in everything that pertains to the purpose of your life.

Speak the word, it works.

When you speak his word, it activates and transfers Gods power and authority from your spirit which is supernatural to the body, which is natural.

Isaiah 54:17   no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper: and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. this is the heritage of the servants of the lord.

No weapon, natural or supernatural, will prosper against you. we are the heritage of the lord.

Start trusting God, he is still in control. don’t lean on your natural understanding.

Speak to your brain tell it you are in charge and for it to do its job.  let it know that it has been slack lately and you are not happy about it.

Tell it to line up with the mind of Christ Jesus and the word of God.

Your brain’s job is to regulate the body. if your body hurts speak to the hurt, tell it you are in control.

Talk to your finances, tell them to get in line with the word of God.

Let the spiritual body tell the natural body who is boss.

Reach out and take this power and authority that Jesus paid for, and invested in you so that you might be strong and fight that good fight of faith.

Now you see why you can’t please God without faith.

The very thing Paul was talking about was the blessed hope in Christ Jesus.

LIVING IN GODS PROMISES

Service from our Friday meeting

LIVING IN GODS PROMISES

2 PETER 1:3-4   According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

According to Gods divine purpose for our life He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.

Whereby, we are given exceedingly great and precious promises, that we can be partakers of Gods divine nature.

The power to lead a godly life comes from God. God allows us to share in his divine nature.

In order to keep us from sinning, he helps us to live for Him, by empowering us with his own goodness.

Also sharing His divine nature with us lets us escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.

According to verse three, through His divine power he has made all things possible for life and godliness, which is your natural life and your spiritual life.

God wants you to use your faith which is your servant to declare all things, which is His promise to you through Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:33   33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Seek God and His kingdom first and through His divine power that Jesus made possible through His death, burial and resurrection, all these things that pertain to life and godliness will be added unto you.

But first we must seek Gods kingdom and His love, because faith works by love.

1 Corinthians 13: 1-3    Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Paul is saying, if I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth, but didn’t love others I would be making a meaningless noise.

And if I have the gift of prophecy and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and everything about everything, but didn’t love others, what good would I be.

And if I had the gift of faith, so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good to anybody.

If I didn’t have love for others, I would be no value whatsoever. Love never gives up, never loses faith, and endures through every circumstance.

Never the less, to live in Gods promises we must learn how to activate Gods manifestation of the things we desire when we pray.

This is why faith is the key, if we have faith like Abraham, God will bring into existence what didn’t exist before: calling those things which be not as though they were.

After the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, new laws were established in the heavens by grace.

By faith through grace, in love “which is a must” we can move God, and receive from heaven Gods blessings, by divine power and trusting God, by believing He will do what His word says He will do.

God has ways of blessing us by his supernatural angelic forces, and through people.

John 14: 13-14   13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

When Jesus say’s we can ask for anything, we must remember that our asking must be in His name, according to Gods word, God will not grant requests contrary to the nature of His word.

Matthew 21: 21-22   21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

To better explain the last two chapters, first, God the father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit absolutely want the best for the children of God. Everything God created, mankind who are believers, have access to, by faith through grace and love.

God has a number of ways to manifest and transfer the things we want. However, He knows the future and will not answer a prayer that He knows will harm us now or in the future.

You wouldn’t give a ten-year-old your car keys, and send him to the store… but according to Philippians 4:19, He will meet all our needs.

Don’t focus so much on the things of the world, but stay focused on eternal things… for instance Heaven.

BELIEVING ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES

Service from our Friday meeting

BELIEVING ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES

Ephesians 3:16   16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

If we want to receive Gods blessings, it is important that we stay in contact with other believers in the body of Christ. God speaks to each of us individually. Other believers have information that you may not have. Together we make a good support system for the perfection of God’s word in us.

The family of God includes all who have believed in Christ in the past, all those who believe in the present all who will believe in the future.

We are a family, because we have the same father. He is the source of all creation, the rightful owner of everything. Even He is the owner of everything He loves sharing with His children.

God promises His love and his power to his family. It is an awesome privilege to be able to approach God with freedom and confidence.

When you feel shut out or isolated, remember that you can never be lost to Gods love, in union with Christ Jesus, and through His empowering spirit we are complete in Gods peace.

Hebrews 13: 20-21   20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The same God of peace that raised Jesus from the dead, is the same God through the blood of Jesus that gives us this everlasting covenant, to make us perfect in every good work, to equip us with all we need for doing His will.

This blood bought covenant was designed for the redeemed (or Christians) to continue the work, from the example that Jesus set before us.

John 14: 12-14   12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Jesus is the visible, tangible image of the invisible God, He is the complete revelation of what God is like.

Jesus said; verily, verily, which means “in truth” I am saying to you in truth, that the people who believe on me, the works that you have personally seen me do, you can do also.

And greater works than these shall you do, because I am going to my father, and whatever you need for the work of the Kingdom, that will I do.

That the father may be glorified in the Son, if you shall ask anything in my name I will do it.

The reason Jesus said greater works than theses shall you do, is not meaning per say ‘greater’ works, he was saying, I am sending the Holy Spirit to guide you with the same power and authority that I used.

Matthew 28:18   18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

God the Father gave Jesus authority over heaven and earth, and on the basis of that authority, Jesus told his disciples to make more disciples as they preached, baptized and taught, with the same authority.

Jesus still commands us to tell others the good news, and make them disciples for the Kingdom. You don’t have to be a preacher/teacher to spread the good news to the lost.

Matthew 10: 5-8   These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Why didn’t Jesus want to send the disciples to teach the gentiles or Samaritans? A gentile is anyone who is not a Jew. The Samaritans were a race that resulted from inter marriage between Jews and gentiles.

Jesus asked the disciples to go only to the Jews, he came first to the Jews.

Romans 1: 16   16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The reason the message went to the Jew first is because they had been Gods chosen people for more than two thousand years. Ever since God chose Abraham and promised him and his descendants great blessings.

God did not choose the Jews because they deserved to be chosen, but because he wanted to show His love and mercy to them.

For it would be through them that his messiah would come into the world. God chose them not to play favorites, but so that they would tell the world about the plan of salvation.

The bible clearly teaches that Gods message of salvation is for all people, regardless of race, sex or national origin.

If you are a believer, the blessings are always in reach.

Luke 11:28   28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Proverbs 28:22   22 He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.

When people rush, and do things trying to get rich they can sometimes be deceived by people, and often loose what little they have.

When they stop focusing on God, and see the glitter of the world, then they stop considering the things of God, all ‘these things’ will come to us by being obedient to His word.

The richest blessings are knowing Christ Jesus as Lord, your fellowship with God, the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and friends you can count on.

THANKSGIVING A TIME FOR SHARING

From our Friday Service

THANKSGIVING A TIME FOR SHARING

In the United States of America Thanksgiving Day is a time we have set aside to give thanks. We give thanks for our founding fathers of our country. We are grateful that our country was founded on the premise that we could worship freely. That we are a nation that believes that all men are created equal.

Thanksgiving is a time for sharing and counting all of your blessings. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. It is possible for some that it may be your last.

Today is gift from God. God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you even used one second to say thank you God?

Thank you for giving your son as a sacrifice so we might be worthy to be part of your family. Did you remember to thank God for his grace? The grace of God is unmerited, undeserved favor of God.

It is the power of anointing favor that we receive our blessings thru.

The grace of God is the anointed power, and ability to get things done to help you.

Did you happen to take a moment to just thank him for having mercy on your soul?

Romans 8:12    12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Did you happen to thank Him for his great love for ‘us’ his children?

John 3:16   16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God’s love was so great that he sent Jesus to die and pay the ultimate price, so we would have a chance to spend eternity with Him.

Thru what Jesus did at Calvary, we have power and authority over our adversary, the devil.

It is time to start sharing and counting your blessings.

Psalms 26:7-8   That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

So, that I may loudly sing a hymn of thanksgiving and tell about all your miracles. God is still in the miracle business.

O Lord, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells.

Psalms 50: 14-15   14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

God is saying, Call on me in times of trouble, I will rescue you, and you will honor me.

How many times do we dishonor God each day?

How many days, weeks, even months do we go along trying to work out our problems ourselves, when God is there all the time, waiting for us to seek Him out.

How long has it been since you told God, thank you for your loving kindness?

God, I really know you love me, regardless of what happens in my life. You sent my brother my friend, my savior, Jesus to save me from eternity in the lake of fire.

So, my Lord and my God we just want to say from the bottom of our hearts, for this very special day, thank you.

PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE TO THE SECOND COMING-MILLENNIUM

PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE TO THE

SECOND COMING-MILLENNIUM

The church is mentioned more than twenty times in the first three chapters of revelation. There is no mention of the church between revelation 4:1 and revelation 19:1

The bible never says the church will go through the tribulation period.

Revelation 3:10   10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

1 Thessalonians   4:14-18    14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Jesus comes to meet his church in the rapture.

1Thessalonians 3:13   13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Jesus comes with his church in the second coming.
The church goes up from the earth in the rapture, and it comes down to the earth in the second coming.

2 Thessalonians 2:6-8   And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

We can’t be certain and do not know what hold back the lawless one, there are three possibilities.

1.   Government and law, which help to curb evil.

2.   The ministry and activity of the church and the effects of the good news.

3.   The Holy Spirit.

The bible is not clear on who this restrainer is, on that the restraint is removed.

God is far stronger that the man of lawlessness and God will save his people.

The lawlessness is already secretly at work. This means that the work that this antichrist will do is already going on.

Secretly means something no one can discover by something God will reveal.
We have yet to see the real horror of complete lawlessness.

This will happen when the one who is holding it back, possible the Holy Spirit, steps out of the way.

Why will God allow this to happen? To show people and nations their own sinfulness, and to show them by bitter experience the true alternative… The Lordship of Christ.

Revelation 19:7   Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

The church must go to heaven for the marriage of the Lamb, before the second coming at the end of the tribulation period.

Sometime after the rapture a seven-year period will begin which is called the tribulation. It is nowhere specified that the tribulation will immediately follow the rapture.

So there may be some interval between the two events of the Rapture and the tribulation. Still the rapture could happen tonight.

Confusion over whether or not there will be a rapture does exist. One reason for this is that the word rapture is not in the bible.

That is why the pre-tribulation concept of the rapture has often been condemned as escapism. I think this criticism is unjustified.

1 Thessalonian 4:18   18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The bible itself says that Christians are to comfort one another.

With the concept of the rapture.

So we should be encouraging each other, comforting and reassuring other brothers and sisters in Christ with this great hope.

Keep in mind the word rapture is not in the English translation of the bible. The new testament was written in Greek.

Then was translated into Latin and then English, several verses of the bible in the Latin translation contains the word rapture. It was penned by Saint Jerome from the Latin Vulgate “rapere.”

It means to be caught up, plucked up or taken up. Christians translate this Latin word to mean rapture.

Gods patience with those on earth is probably wearing pretty thin. I believe the tribulation period is approaching very fast.

As believers we need to submit to Gods authority as a daily principle in our lives.

The rapture of the church has happened, the dead in Christ have risen and we which are alive shall be caught up together.

At this time, or perhaps a period of time, the first three-and-a-half-year tribulation will begin.

The seals begin to open, the terrible Judgements will not begin like a nuclear explosion, they will not appear to be that bad at first. They will gain in strength as time goes by.

Things will eventually get out of control, and become so bad that mankind would destroy the earth were it not for the second coming of Jesus.

Jesus is the only one who opens the seals and is in charge of the judgements and their timing.

Jesus won’t break the seal and the creature won’t say come up and see until the church is removed. The creature is the one on the white horse, the antichrist.

As long as Noah was on the earth, God did not send the flood and judge the world.

As long as lot and his family were in Sodom and Gomorrah, God did not send the fire and brimstone to destroy the cities.

Today, as long as the church is in the world, God will not send these terrible judgments. As soon as the church is taken to heaven, God will not hesitate to pour out his wrath.

As these seals are opened four horses and riders are loosed.

The first is a white horse,

Revelation 6:2   And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

This is the anti-christ riding this white horse, he is an imitation of Jesus who will return at the end of the tribulation on a white horse.

The second seal produces a red horse, whose rider has power to take peace from the earth. This could easily be nuclear warfare.

The third seal produces a black horse whose rider is famine. Famine always follows war; it is not worldwide but middle east.

The fourth seal produces a pale horse whose rider is death, this rider won’t be looking for the saved, instead he will be hunting the great mass of people who are destined for an eternity in hell.

This rider will go forth to harvest the souls of unbelievers to fuel the fires of hell.

It staggers the imagination to realize that one fourth of the world’s population will be destroyed within a matter of days.

The fifth seal following the rapture multitudes will accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, they are called the tribulation saints.

World leaders will say these Christians are a threat to the world government, world peace, world religion and the environment.

Therefore, they must be dealt with, followers of the new age movement teach that the earth must go through a cleansing. Their vision will include the death of all who turn to Jesus.

At the beginning or right after the tribulation a great host of armies are gathered to do battle with Israel.

Ezekiel 38: 14-16    Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

This army is Russia and her allies.

Ezekiel 39: 1-4    Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

Russia and its allies are defeated, except one sixth or about fifteen percent.

Because of the way God moves on behalf of their nation 144,000 will come to know Jesus.

There will be chaos after the rapture and after the war with Russia and her allies, which will allow the antichrist to come to power.

Revelation 13:3-4    And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Remember that the heads represent seven world governments, the antichrist will be given so much power that he will be the world government.

This will be a pivotal moment for Satin and his anti-christ. Every unbeliever in the world will be amazed. At this point they will follow him, even into war.

They will follow him because he is injured unto death and was miraculously healed.  When this healing occurs, the end of the tribulation period will be exactly forty two months away.

They will be in awe of his power and the miracles he performs.

He will unite the world. Under his leadership he will control the economy.

People who are impressed by power will follow those who display it forcefully, or offer it to their followers.

The end of the tribulation will come about the time the antichrist sits in the temple and declares that he is god.

At the first part of the tribulation there is a covenant made with Israel. It will be broken at the three and a half time period of the tribulation.

Daniel 9: 26-27   And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

With his rise in power his great victories in other wars, his overwhelming personality and of course his miraculous healing, they will believe this man is invincible.

Even the rulers of the other divisions of the world will be so impressed with him.

This man “the antichrist” will be a master deceiver with persuasive power from the pits of hell.

Matthew 24:15-16   When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

At this point things are so dangerous for the Jewish people at Judaea they are told in the word to flee to the mountains.

Revelation 13:6   And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
