When These Things Begin to Happen

When These Things Begin to Happen

Matthew 24:33   33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

What “things” was Jesus talking of?  He was speaking of wars and rumors of war, and false prophets. The only way to keep from being deceived is to focus on Christ Jesus and His words. The nations and Kingdoms “other countries” will proclaim war against each other and there will be famine and earthquakes in many parts of the world.

There will be pestilences, which are sickness like the flu and other illnesses, another part of the signs there will be iniquity, and the love of many shall become cold.

I don’t know when God will send his son Jesus to take us out by the rapture, but all the signs are here upon us. Signs like there were in the days of Noah.

Genesis 6:5   And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

This is an example of what is going on in the whole world, with the exception of the few righteous Christians that trust and serve God.

It was the same with Sodom and Gomorrah, they were so evil and out of touch with God until there was no hope of saving them. God is saying to America and other countries, humble yourselves and live righteous before me, and I will heal your land.

It seems to me that the iniquity is getting worse with each passing day, the rumors of ware are building up as well. Hatred among the people is swelling as well as hatred between the nations. It appears that we are getting closer to the end times, the end of the age of grace.

Matthew 24:14   14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Jesus said that before he returns the good news about the kingdom, which is the message of salvation would be preached throughout the world.

This was the disciples mission, and today it is ours. Jesus talked about the end times and final judgment to show his followers the urgency of spreading the good news of salvation to everyone.

Have you noticed how many of the TV evangelists are now world wide with their ministry. It too is a sign. The message of salvation is reaching the whole world. Our time on earth is slowly ticking away. The time is near whether you accept it or not.

Because of the lack of hope there are a lot of suicides and drug abuse. Satan has stolen their hope. He is having a field day keeping people away from God.

God has said heaven and earth shall disappear, but my word shall remain forever.

Mark 13:23   23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Jesus warned us that the end times will be difficult and not fall away. If we keep our relationship with Christ, we will  be prepared to remain faithful till the end.

In the days of Jesus and his disciples the world seemed so permanent.

In these days many fear it’s self-destruction by nuclear war. Jesus told us that even if the earth passes away His truth of His words will never change or be abolished.

Mark 13:29-33   29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Jesus said, we will see these things coming to pass, yet no one knows the hour or the day, only the father know.

Are you willing to take a chance on tomorrow, or even tonight? Even while you sleep, Heaven is real and hell is real, which do you choose.

Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and spend eternity with him.

What Shall I Do When I'm Hurting

What Shall I Do When I'm Hurting

We are living in a world of hurt. But there is hope in the midst of hurting.

Yes, because there is a God who cares and who promises to protect and provide.

The question is why do we hurt? Why does God allow it?

How long can I hang on? How long until things change?

This is one of the reasons why I like to teach and raise up a solid teaching of Gods word.

God’s word can bring comfort to ones life, whether it is pain or illness from a physical situation or a financial melt down.

Some of the things we face daily are depression, feeling discouraged, and feeling impatient.

We even sometimes get so low we start doubting God.

So what do you do when you are at the point that you don’t know what to do?

Sometimes you might think you are sure about what you need to do; then fear shows up.

Isaiah 41:10   10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Another time you want to make a decision but lack the courage to step out in faith.

When you feel uncertain about making a decision, know in your heart that God will give you the courage you need.

Seek Gods will. Pray, meditate in His word. These prayer times sometimes give us the certainty we need.

Psalms 27:14   14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

God will give you strength for every situation you face.

When you rely on His power, you will run and not be weary, that’s Gods promise to you.

Let’s say your facing financial difficulties, financial problems can build up incredible stress, worry and anxiety.

You can get so preoccupied about how you will ever pay these bills off.

Turning to God for wisdom and direction is a vital step toward financial freedom.

His word is filled with the knowledge and insight you need for getting through these tough times.

Matthew 6:31-33   31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God knows your needs and will provide in ways you can’t even imagine.

Ephesians 3:20   20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

He has promised to supply all your needs, according to the riches of His perfect knowledge, unlimited power an unshakeable love for you.

Psalms 34:10   10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek theLord shall not want any good thing.

One of the things we really need to do is totally surrender our lives to God. Trust in Him. Meditate on Him and His will for your life.

The word surrender means: an act of yielding or giving up our way of doing things and going to God and seeking His way of doing things.

Sometimes after people reach a certain age they start thinking I’ve worked all my life and I don’t have a thing to show for it.

Then either Anger or depression starts showing up.

Ephesians 4:26-27   26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.

Don’t ever let anger control your thoughts. Anger and depression will cause you to want to give up.
So what do you do? When you don’t know what to do, go to God, and say to God, I surrender all.

When you surrender all you have to God, you will get all that God has for you.

SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

So how can we know the only way to God? Only through Jesus, Jesus is the way because he is both God and man. By uniting our lives with his we are united with God.

Jesus says he is the only way to God the father. Some people may argue that this way is too narrow. In reality it is wide enough for the whole world.

If the world chooses to accept it, instead of worrying about how limited it sounds to have only one way. We should be saying thank you God for providing a sure way to be with you.

As the way, Jesus is our path to the Father, as the truth he is the reality of all Gods promises, as the life Jesus joins his divine life to ours, both now and in eternity.

2 Timothy 2:19   19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

No matter how many people follow false teachers the solid foundation of Gods truth never changes, it is never shaken and will never fade, when we follow Gods truth. He will never forsake us.

We can not shape the doctrines of scripture to match our opinions. If we do we are putting ourselves and our thoughts above God. Our beliefs should be consistent with what Gods word says.

Ephesians 1:3-7   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

This means that in Christ Jesus we have all the benefits of knowing God, being chosen for salvation, being adopted as his children, receiving forgiveness, insight, the gifts of the spirit, power to do Gods will and the hope of living forever with Jesus. Because we have an intimate relationship with Jesus we can enjoy all these blessings now.

The mystery of salvation originated in the timeless mind of God long before we existed. God chose us and when we belong to him through Jesus God looks at us as if we had never sinned.

2 Corinthians 1: 20-22   20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

All of Gods promises are fulfilled in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit guarantees that we belong to God and will receive all his benefits. The holy spirit guarantees that salvation is ours now. And that we will receive so much more when Jesus returns.

The great comfort and power the Holy Spirit gives in this life is a foretaste of the benefits of our eternal life in Gods presence, along with the privilege of belonging to God comes the responsibility of identifying ourselves as His faithful servants.

John 3:16-18   16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Here God sets the pattern of true love. The basis for all love relationships. When you love someone dearly you are willing to give freely to the point of self-sacrifice.

God paid dearly with the life of his son. It was the highest price he could pay. Jesus accepted our punishment, paid the price for our sins, then offered us the new life that he bought and paid for with his shed blood.

Eternal life is not a extension of a persons mortal life, eternal life is Gods life embodied in Christ, given to all believers as a guarantee that they will live forever. They will have an eternal life, there is no sickness, death, enemies, evil, or sin.

When we don’t know Jesus, we make choices as though this life is all we have. In reality this life is just the introduction to eternity.by receiving this new life by faith we begin to evaluate all that happens from an eternal perspective.

When Jesus talks about unbelievers, he means those who reject or ignore him completely, not those who have doubt about the word being truth.

Ephesians 1:12-13   12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

God’s purpose is to offer salvation to the world. Just as he had planned to do long ago. God is sovereign, he is in charge, when your life seems chaotic, rest in His truth. Gods purpose is to save you.

The Holy Spirit is Gods guarantee that we belong to Him and he will do what he has promised. The Holy Spirit in us to demonstrate that our faith is genuine.

It proves that we are Gods children and secures eternal life for us. His power works in us to transform us now by sealing our spirit by his Holy Spirit at the moment we accept His son Jesus as Lord and Savior.

When you do this you will experience a taste of the total change in eternity. If for some reason you decide to ignore Christ as Lord and savior you will be judged at the white throne judgement, here is what Jesus will say to you.

Matthew 7:21-23   21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

He will say to you depart from me for I never knew you.

Jesus really will not know you, think about it!!!
