GOD DID NOT GIVE US A SPIRIT OF FEAR

2 Timothy 1:7   ⁷ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:6   ⁶ For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Renewing your mind is exchanging your thoughts, your beliefs and your opinions for Gods thoughts, gods opinions and Gods beliefs which is his word.

Gods power, Gods love and a sound mind will win over anything Satan can come up with.

Fear in America is destroying lives and people are not even aware of why everything is so chaotic in their lives.

The spirit of fear is evil. It will put you in bondage that will lead you into confusion.

The area of confusion will cause stress and will lead to depression. Then you are over in Satan’s arena.

Satan plays hard ball. When you get to this point you will do and say things you normally would never do. Especially to friends and family.

A very large percentage of people have this problem today.

The reason Satan is getting by with it is we allow it. You must know your enemy.

If you went to Mexico to a bull fight you would see that the Bull does not know who the enemy is.

This bull is about to be killed and he doesn’t have a clue what the enemy is going to do. The bull thinks the enemy is the red cape.

If the bull ever finds out the real source the matador won’t have a chance.

It is that way for the born-again believer.

We are being controlled by Satan. Not by what is happening in America, but what is happening in our minds.

Satan’s #1 weapon is manipulation and deception. You need to know who your enemy is and how he works his deception to destroy you.

No little girl says, I want to grow up and be strung out on drugs or be an alcoholic or someone’s mistress.

No little boy says, when I grow up I want to be a murderer and go to school and kill a dozen first graders.

It is time to rise up and put the devil in his place. Bind him from deceiving us and our children.

1 Peter 5:6-8   ⁶ Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

⁷ Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Turn all of your anxiety over to God. be sober, keep your mind clear and alert because the devil who is the accuser of the brethren prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

Malachi 3: 11   ¹¹ And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

Folks this is real. God is real, Satan is real, heaven is real, and hell is real.

John 14:6   ⁶ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

What we are seeing these days is a lot of people denying the truth and having a form of godlessness. They think if it feels right and everyone is doing it, then it must be right.

It is true, the truth will set you free, but only if you know it and apply it to your life.

We have crossed the line, we are doing the exact same things as the people in Noahs days, and the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Only the power of God and his supernatural ability can help America.

John 10:10   ¹⁰ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The devil does not want you to know that he is a killer, a stealer and a destroyer.

He most certainly does not want you to know that you can have life in abundance by accepting Jesus as Lord and savior.

Satan wants to be the lord of your life and he is willing to fight to win that position. How hard are you will to fight to keep him from winning?

We are in a spiritual war. 

Ephesians 6:10-13   ¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

¹¹ Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

¹³ Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

This is in his word to warn us of the danger we are in from Satan and his quest to keep us out of heaven.

Satan doesn’t want you to know that when Jesus died on the cross his blood was so pure until it cleansed your spirit man so clean until the Holy Spirit of God could come in and live in your spirit and that your spirit was sealed at that time.

1 John 4:4   ⁴ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Satan doesn’t want you to know the truth because he knows the truth will set you free from the bondage of fear.

John 8:32   ³² And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Satan surely doesn’t want you to know that you have victory in your life because of the new blood covenant.

Jesus died in our place to make it possible for those who believe to be re-united with God. He bridged the gap back to God the father.

Many people will miss heaven because of Satan’s deception and the spirit of fear. 

Satan doesn’t want you to know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Philippians 4:13   ¹³ I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

He doesn’t want you to know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose.

For sure he doesn’t want you to know that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that no man comes to the father but by Jesus Christ.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself. As long as you have Jesus you have everything you need. It is at the cross.

If you could picture in your mind the price Jesus paid at the cross, you would fall in love with him.

Called to Conquer

If you have made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, you have been called to conquer.

There are a lot of people that go to church and have not been saved, however that is not what this lesson is focusing on.

Romans 10:13   For who so Ever shall call upon the name of the Lord Shall be saved.

Being saved means you won’t have to spend eternity in hell. It is just that simple.

Just being saved does not make you a conqueror. To be a conqueror you must…

First have the knowledge

Second you must have the wisdom to use the knowledge in an effective way…

Third your spiritual attitude must be dedicated to winning…

Then you must know the power you have through the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Above all you must know who your enemy is.

Being saved is just not enough to be a conqueror. A newborn Christian is saved but they don’t have the wisdom of God to be a conqueror.

To begin with you need to know what the full armor is. A new or unlearned Christian doesn’t have that knowledge.

As a matter of fact, very few Christians have even been taught about the full armor of God.

So how do we become conquerors for Christ?

Number one you must not have the spirit of fear.

2 Timothy 1:7   ⁷ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

 The spirit of fear is evil and from the devil. It will put you into bondage, that will lead you farther away from God than you want to go.

It will lead you into the spirit of confusion and cause stress in your life, that can lead to depression.

Then it becomes a situation of having no hope. That is Americas problem today, lost hope.

Second thing we must know that we have dominion over Satan.

Ephesians 6:12   ¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Today even Christians do not want to admit that demonic and evil spirits are real.

So just being a Christian alone does not make you a conqueror. If God has called you to be a conquer then there must be a war going on.

Romans 8: 37   Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

We become more than conquerors through Him who loves us.

To conquer something, you must first have victory over the something or be victorious over a situation.

To be a victor is to have final and complete supremacy in battle or war.

If God has called you to be a conqueror then there must be a war going on.

1^st Corinthians 15:57   but thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

You have to be victorious in and through our Lord Jesus Christ; you can’t be victorious in a spiritual war fighting with carnal weapons.

2^nd Corinthians 10: 3-4   for though we walk in the flesh we do not war after the flesh.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the Pulling down of strongholds.

Now what is a stronghold?

It is a place having strong defenses.

Satan has strong defenses, but thanks be to God,for he has covered that for us also.

1^st John 5: 4-5   ⁴ For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
⁵ Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

1^st John 4: 4   Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Meaning Gods spirit that is in you is greater than the spirits that roam the earth.


Romans 8: 28   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

To be a conqueror we have to know who we are in Christ Jesus.

Then we need to know WHAT we can do through Christ.

And last, we have to know WHEN to conquer.

You can know who, where and what; but if you do not know when you are in a state of confusion.

We have to be objective like Jesus in his ministry, or like Daniel in Babylon, or even like Joseph in Egypt.

The things that are happening to us in our daily lives are likely to be our own fault

Hosea 4:6   My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Sometimes people suffer because some preacher doesn’t agree with what the word says, rather he agrees with what doctrine says.

They will argue and say I can’t help what the word says; our association doesn’t believe that way.

Well do they think they know more than the word of God?

If you are going to believe some of Gods word, and not all of Gods word, you might be saved but you will never be a conqueror


Rev 3:21   To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Here is the way in; I am not going to leave you hanging… Jesus has invited us to share the throne with him…

Eph 2: 6   And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Paul is saying: God has brought us back to live together with Christ Jesus and has given us a position in heaven with him…

God saved us and through faith as an act of kindness, we had nothing to do with it, being saved is a gift from God.

The word says, your welcome to the throne room, but first you have to meet a few personal conditions…

Once these conditions are met, binding and loosening essentially will cover any situation that can come against you.

If evil or hindering forces are at work in your life you can bind them in Jesus name.

If resources or provisions of any kind are needed, or if people are in any form of bondage you can loose them in Jesus name

But you have to agree that touching anything that you ask, it shall be done.

John 14: 13-14   ¹³ And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
¹⁴ If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

1 Peter 2:24   ²⁴ Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.


Isaiah 53:5   ⁵ But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Isaiah says, with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter says, by whose stripes ye were healed.


Isaiah was saying there is a coming savior that by taking stripes we can be healed.

This was written 700 years before the cross.

1 Peter is saying, because Jesus fulfilled this prophesy, by His stripes we were healed.

All we need to do is have faith in what Jesus has already done. It was all settled at Calvary on the cross.

Sickness and disease is a demonic curse, you cant cure a spiritual disease with natural means. It won’t work. Gods hand has to be in it.

Being healed is like being saved but in a physical sense.

It is plainly telling us that he saved us with his shed blood, and bore our sickness and disease.

The only thing that Satan can do is convince you with symptoms, using deception.

A symptom is any condition accompanying or resulting from a disease or physical disorder. A sign that indicates the occurrence of something else.

Satan will let you down, the world system will let you down. What will you do when the world system crumbles? It will, we can see it happening now.


2 Timothy 3:1   3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Only faith in Gods word and his kingdom will sustain you in these perilous times.

To be healed you must get rid of all uncertainty concerning God,s will in the matter.

Proverbs 4:20-22   ²⁰ My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

²¹ Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

²² For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

When your eyes are on the symptoms and your mind is occupied with them more than Gods word, that is seeds of doubt.

Symptoms may point you to death or pain, but Gods word points you toward life, and life abundantly.

When God speaks, all heaven is behind his words. When he speaks the Holy Spirit is behind his words, when he speaks the Holy Spirit moves.

Our heavenly father is a physician of infinite ability who heals all our diseases.

The body of Christ needs to major in mercy. It is what gives us the proper spiritual perspective.

Psalms 106:1   106 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

We must see that in the natural/physical realm. Problems can not be solved with just natural realm solutions.

It takes a spiritual answer to solve a natural problem. Trying to answer a spiritual problem with a natural answer is even more impossible.

Sickness and disease is a demonic thing from the devil. We can not get rid of demons with aspirin.

Mark 1:26-27   ²⁶ And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

²⁷ And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

That natural answer will not work, yet this is what has been happening in churches today.

We have attacked diseases the wrong way. We have treated it like it was from the natural realm.

We have failed to understand that all diseases do not have the same level of spirituality about them.

Some infirmities are more natural than others but still a demonic attack.

Bitterness is the cause of a lot of sickness. Bitterness will cause stress; stress will poison your flesh by causing toxins to enter your body.

When the devil puts a thought of sickness in your mind don’t confess it. Don’t say, oh I’m getting sick.

When you confess sickness or disease, it actually shows that you believe sickness more than you believe in God’s word.

Just as healing is received by faith, so is healing kept by faith. You must be on guard, when the sickness tries to come back rebuke it.

Christians are supposed to walking in divine health.

Matthew 10:1   10 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

The only thing Satan can do is work thru thoughts and suggestions or convince you with symptoms.

Only faith in God’s word and his kingdom will sustain you in these perilous times.

Sometimes people get mad at God, thinking he put diseases on them. When the whole time it was a spiritual thing coming from a demonic source.

John 14:13   ¹³ And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

When it comes to curing sickness and other spiritual problems, we are not limited to only natural means.

We can attack the foul spirit of infirmity that is causing them. Thanks be to the mercies and compassion of God.

Romans 9:23-24   ²³ And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

²⁴ Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

In the power of God, we can stand on the name of Jesus and his redemptive blood.

We can take his word and drive that evil spirit out. Many times, people have a problem and the spirit of fear inters in.

2 Corinthians 5:7   ⁷ (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We should not be moved by what we feel. That is how the devil works. He puts a symptom on us and we start speaking it into existence.

Words are the most powerful thing in our arsenal to fight the devil. Stop claiming sickness and disease.

Proverbs 18:21   ²¹ Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

The word does not lie… power of life and death are in your tongue.

Our salvation, our sickness and disease were bought and paid for by the stripes of Jesus on the cross.

At the cross of Calvary, his blood washed away our sins, his stripes healed us. 

It is impossible to separate the two. It all happened at the same time.

Before you can have faith for healing of your body, you must be rid of all uncertainty concerning Gods will in the matter of healing.

Faith can not go beyond one’s knowledge of the revealed will of God, which is His word.

They are life to those that find them and health to all their flesh. The word of God can not be health to either soul or body before it is heard, received and attended to.

The words of God are life only to those that seek them and find them.

Obtaining results from the promises of God’s word:

1.           There must be the attentive ear. Incline thine ear to my sayings.

2.           There must be the steadfast look: let them not depart from thine eyes.

3.           There must be a pure heart. Keep them in the midst of thy heart.

When your eyes are upon your symptoms and your mind is occupied with them more than Gods word, guess what, then there are those seeds of doubt.

Remember symptoms may point you to death but Gods word points you to life.

Romans 10:17   ¹⁷ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 12:1-2   12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

² And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

John 8:31-32   ³¹ Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

³² And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Freedom from sickness comes from knowing the truth. God does nothing without his word.

Being healed is being healed in a physical sense.

Never pray for healing saying “if it be thy will.” If you are reading his word you should know it is his will.

Matthew 8:16-17   ¹⁶ When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

¹⁷ That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Psalms 103:1-3   103 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

² Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

³ Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Mark 11:24   ²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

It is all here in his word. God does not put sickness and diseases on people to humble them or to teach them a lesson.

Only the name and the blood of Jesus with a confession of faith will sustain you.

Remember in 3 John verse 2 it says, the will of God is for you to prosper and be in good health.

Throughout the word of God we find promises for healing health and prosperity.

It is Gods will for us to be well and enjoy health and life to its fullest.

Only when we know and understand God’s promises can we apply them to our health and lives.

You must know what the word says and means.

Our God that heals, is the same God that is able to sustain you and keep you healthy.

He can sustain you for a day, a month or a lifetime. It all is according to your faith.

Go to the word:

Claim your healing,

Command your healing in the name of Jesus. You must accept Gods will in this. It will be a supernatural healing or healing from the doctor.

We were not given the full anointed power and authority that Jesus had, we are only connected to that power.

The Holy Spirit controls the anointing level and power we have for Gods purpose.

It takes faith, yes, but it takes that anointed power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish healing.
