HOW TO USE YOUR SUPERNATURAL AUTHORITY

HOW TO USE YOUR SUPERNATURAL AUTHORITY

When it comes to the point in our life that circumstances require a supernatural response, and you have no idea what to do or how to use your God given authority; what then?

Naturally we need to use our faith, but faith alone without response is dead.

James 2:17   17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

So, what good is dead faith? Faith has to be activated by action. This action has to come from how much do you believe, without doubt.

To activate faith, you must know first what faith is. Faith is not just a word.

Hebrews 11:1   11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is a substance faith takes the things we hope for and manifest or produces them from the spirit realm to the natural realm. Grace makes. Faith takes.

How much of God’s word, do you have in you to keep doubt out of your thinking? We must learn how to use our authority that has been invested in us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 1:3-7   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

We must get beyond the physical or natural way of thinking. The will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you.

Romans 5:17   17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Grace reigns in the heart of the believer, power and authority is in the heart, for out of the heart of the believer the mouth speaks.

Luke 6:45   45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Words have power, you do have authority, now let’s learn how to use this authority.

There is a difference between having authority and having power. You, by Christ Jesus, have been given authority at the time of your new birth, even though you have authority, this authority has only been given to you through grace, “which is the new covenant” to use the name of Jesus to exercise your authority.

The power is in Christ Jesus, authority has given us the right to use His name to command.

The power through grace has given us this right to command, the favor of God and the love of God will fulfill all our needs.

It is not by works, even so we didn’t earn the right to lay hands on the sick and they be healed, or the authority to cast out evil spirits. We didn’t deserve it, or do anything to earn it… he loved us enough to share his power and authority.

Matthew 10:1   10 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Now let’s learn about power through our authority. We have the right to use it because of grace. However, our authority is only the God given right to use the name of Jesus.

Authority added with the name of Jesus, by faith, will enable you to do whatever the word says you can do.

It takes supernatural power to transfer things from the supernatural realm to the natural realm. It is time for us to rise up and demonstrate the power of God.

God has provided the power and it’s our responsibility to make use of this power. God is responsible for supplying the power to us, all we have to do is flip the switch and turn on the power.

Matthew 10:7-8   And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

You have freely received the authority to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons.

Mark 16:17   17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name, shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

The authority gives us the right to command, the power is and has always been in the name of Jesus. All power in heaven and earth has been given to him….

Matthew 28:18   18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Romans 13:1   13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

John 4:23-24   23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Every time it is mentioned about using the power of God, people start thinking “am I worthy” am I good enough? They don’t realize we are not perfect in ourselves, but have been made perfect in Christ Jesus. This is what makes you worthy: Not any works you did, but what Jesus did.

God is so rich in mercy and loves us so much that even while we still had sin in our lives, he sent us a Savior.

When Gods word tells us to do something, it is not a request, it is a command. It is Gods job to supply the power, it is our job to put it to use.

If we Christians will do that, you won’t have to do much talking. When they see the sick healed and the dead raised and the blind eyes open it is all said for you… The Lord has done the talking.

Start putting Gods word to use, then, everybody will want to get saved. This is not something I am saying to just preachers. We are all to administer the word and win souls.

Luke 10-19   19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The disciples had seen tremendous results as they ministered in Jesus’ name, With their authority.

The average Christian approaches God as if they had no power and authority at all. Even though it has already been done for them.

The very day you got saved you were given the authority, the right to command and the ability to trample on the enemy. Jesus commanded, the disciples commanded and we are to command.

It is Satan’s desire to rob you and steal the word out of your life. Stop thinking you are powerless. That you can’t do anything. Stop thinking I will just let God do it.

You have God given power and authority. Activate it. Use it. We have bought into that lie of powerlessness. We feel like we don’t have any power, and we won’t until we believe we do.

Why would Jesus tell us that it is possible for us to do those things if it wasn’t so? Just because you haven’t done it or seen anyone do it doesn’t mean it is impossible.

Don’t limit yourself by comparing yourself with everyone else.

Look at Jesus, and look at God… don’t limit them. For with God all things are possible. There is nothing you are looking at that is impossible. With God, you can overcome all impossibilities.

He has turned the power on in your life. Flip the switch. You will never know that what I am teaching you is the truth until you can get to the point of saying, “I believe the power is in me”.

Don’t wait to get to the point of unbelief. Believe now and step out in faith. Tell the Lord, “if you said this is possible, then say praise God, I can do it”.

John 15:5   John 15:7

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

As long as Jesus was with the disciple’s they were very comfortable. When he ascended to heaven they felt as though they were somewhat powerless. Never feel powerless, he said,

Matthew 28:18   18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Without Jesus you can do nothing, with Jesus all things are possible. You are never on your own. Jesus is always with you, giving you the power you need to succeed.
