Dominated by Deception

Lesson for April 7, 2017

We have been taught the doctrine of death until it is so ingrained in us and in our spirits, that on a certain day we just turn over and die.

When you operate in the natural or human mind you can create whatever illusion you want.

It will reproduce a thought and put that thought into the real world, the world where you live.

The thieves, the killers and the destroyers have not been Satan alone: But we as believers have handed our power over to the devil by listening to and believing misinformed teachers and incorrect teachings on this particular scripture.

If you believe Satan can kill you, he will,

If you believe Satan can rob you, he will,

If you believe Satan can destroy your means of life, he will.

Hebrews 2:14-15   14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

The power of death has been taken from Satan.

When we the children of God, rise up in the knowledge of who they are and who the devil is, and what he is not, the devil will forever be under your feet.

We must take dominion over this world, over death.
Over our environment and over the very circumstances, our circumstances.
If we are going to rule in the name of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Do you think that Jesus is coming to this earth to reign with a group of Satan dominated, fearful, defeated saints? Remember, he is coming to rule with us not for us.

John 10:10   10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The only thing Satan can steal from you in is his own power is the word of God.

It is true, that if he can steal the word of God from you, he can steal your power over him.

Your strength over Satan does not rest in what the world says… it rests in what the word says.

If you live in the word, you live in power.
If you live in the word, you rule Satan serves.
If you live in the world, you live in defeat.
If you live in the world you serve, Satan rules.

Satan can steal the word, so in that respect, he is indeed a thief.

Christians need to be careful about the biblical concept of thieves.

The bible even teaches, Jesus will come as a thief in the night.

That does not make Jesus a thief.

Be very careful about any power you attribute to Satan.

He has the power to steal from us, only if we give him the authority to do it. By himself he has no power.

The truth of the matter is, the battle we go through is in our mind.

As long as we think that Satan is mighty and powerful, he can and will hurt you.

It is time for Christians to let God take you from a mentally defeated human, to mentally being an over coming god like Christian.

These concepts about Satan cannot enter your mind, when you are walking in the greater dimension of our God-like mental abilities and the mind of Christ.

One of the first things we need to learn is when you give something attention, you give it strength in your life.

You give Satan power when you constantly acknowledge his presence…. Quit letting him run your life.

1 John 3:7-9   Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Jesus destroyed the devils power.
The power of death that he once had has been destroyed.
It has been wiped out.

Matthew 7:15-20   15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

These false prophets, which come in sheep’s clothing speak just enough truth to make his lies sound convincing.

You can detect these false prophets by the way they act. Just as you can identify a tree by its fruits. A healthy tree produces good fruit, and an unhealthy tree produces bad fruit.

You can see the fruit in the lives of people. It will help you identify them. Is their fruit good or bad, or non-existent?

Verse 16 says, you shall know them by their fruits.

1 John 4:1-4   Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Don’t believe everything or every one. There are many false prophets in the world.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15    13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Verse 14 says, but I am not surprised, even Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light.

It is time for us to hold on to the truth of the word.

The saints must come into the truth of who they are in Christ Jesus.

It is time to start walking in belief, not unbelief.
